I love shopping here every time I visit Toronto! All the clothes are of the latest trends and the prices are very reasonable for the quality.

I’ve made many trips and many purchases at Risqué and I’ve noticed the quality has recently deteriorated on the«add-on» pieces(i.e. leggings, bandeaus and tanks). Three times I’ve purchased something that has fallen apart after the first wash(and yes — I followed the label’s instructions). Love the place, but wouldn’t advise making these kinds of purchases at Risqué.

Wow way to make people feel welcome. My partner arrived at risqué not realizing it was about to close. She loves to go there and was looking for a dress today. Just as she entered she saw one employee look at her and mouth ‘go away’ to another employee. Needless to say she left right away, feeling so embarrassed. I have such an issue with businesses making people feel so terrible. Whoever it was, all you had to do is tell her that the store was closing. It could have saved you from embarrassing someone who is pretty rad.

Love this place — the clothes, the vibe, the music, the staff. Sometimes I just pop in with my dog to hang out for a few minutes, scour the racks, chat with the gals and then continue on my way. The prices are reasonable, but my favourite part of this place is being egged on to try new digs by the lovely team of fashionistas, who are by NO means pushy, but rather, genuinely into the try-on process. I also love that the store supports local artisan jewellers, like Kensington Market’s Anice, who turns vintage treasures into new pieces. Always leave satisfied and equipped with some kind of trinket that’s ultra-feminine and easy to wear.

Love their selection of clothing and the prices are reasonable too. Great find for fashion lovers in The Annex.

The clothes are a lot less risqué than the name implies… good selection of clothes though

Considering the Annex is fairly void of women’s clothing shops, it’s nice to have Risqué around in case of emergencies. Risqué is a very girly clothing boutique(lots of floral prints, etc). You’ll find lots of dresses, skirts, blouses plus accessories(belts, tanks, sunglasses and jewelry). They also have a small selection of jeans and they have coats/outerwear available in the fall/winter seasons. They carry brands like Dish, Kersh, Bionic, Shared, etc. Prices are moderate, but they do have great seasonal sales. I often pop in to scope out the sale racks.

I have found so many FAB things here. This is one of my go-to places when looking for an affordable new party dress. The sales staff aren’t too agressive, they let you do your thing and browse, but they are just a holler away to find you another size or style — that’s a cool thing about this place — they often have a dress in a variety of styles in each colour or material. My red carpet-worthy birthday party red carpet dress was discovered here last fall, but I have found a few theatre-opening-night frocks here too. This makes me think it would be a brilliant place to find cost-effective bridesmaid’s dresses — you could all get the same colour/material, but each in an individually-flattering style. I must say that I only shop sale dresses here, but when they have sales, DOTHEYEVER discount! I recommend my fellow fashionistas who do not have this storefront on their surveillance to add it right now.
