Ricky Ricardo’s Restaurant & Mojito Bar

The food is great, there’s tons of room for dancing, and the mojitos keep flowing. Their signature «Spoutine» (their take on poutine with yucca fries, queso fresco, guajillo chili and homemade salsa) is so delicious and a great take on a common dish. Their ceviche is nice and citrusy, and their chorizo/​pork taco was hearty and fresh garnished with pineapple.
Their staff is also very nice. The chef came out to introduce some of the different ingredients she uses to my vegan friend. They also came out with some slices of a really lovely raspberry rum cake for the 3 birthday people in the group.
However, a new restaurant isn’t without some hiccups. Our group was pretty big (14 people), but we seemed to be waiting extra long for our food. The appetizers came out at the same time as our entrees, which was a bit cumbersome. All our dishes also came out at different times and at varying temperatures with some people finishing their plates before others got their food. There was also confusion as to how the bills were being split. I know it can get confusing, but some tabs only had drinks, while others had multiple entrees.
This location seems to change over fairly frequently. Hopefully RR can tighten up their kinks and work it out. Their food is worth it.
