I go weekly(who am I kidding, sometimes daily) and have never been disappointed! I usually get myself a $ 2.99 lychee bubble tea(which is large and they do not skimp on filling it up or adding lots of tapioca) that comes with a free bun. Everything has always been fresh and the staff is super friendly.

I love their Hong Kong style milk tea and bun combo for $ 1.80. Other bakery items such as sponge cakes, egg tarts, and pineapple tarts are delicious. Check it out, you will not be disappointed!

I think this is all about timing… I think this is all about expectation… I have been to the original location at Warden and had one of the best egg tarts in the area but what they have in this location was just disappointing! The egg tart(80 cents) was cold and hard in the afternoon when I picked one up! The Wife Cake($ 1) was pounded so thin with hardly any filling and lacked the chewiness! The Curry Beef Puff($ 1) was delish with oh so fluffy shell. The staff was really nice but just a little slow with the service. There is also a few tables set up if you want to just have a milk tea and a bun($ 1.80). But the setting is really basic, I would not suggest you bring your date here…

Love love love this place! It’s a cute, little bakery with delicious, newly baked goods and a variety of deserts and drinks to choose from. There are many deals that this quaint Asian bakery offers such as buy 6 buns(keep in mind most are only 0.80 cents each!) and get one free. My usual order is a taro slush(flavours such as watermelon, honey dew, strawberry, lychee etc. are also available to you) and it comes with a free bun(sweet or savoury) of your choice totalling to a few cents over $ 4. Regular milk bubble tea is $ 2.99 whereas slush is $ 3.99 and even though they only provide the customer with one size, to me, it’s pretty big(maybe a medium for most bubble tea shops) and they are very gracious and take their time filling your cup to the rim! Other than the fantastic and various foods this place offers, the workers are extremely nice! They welcome you and always seem to give you smiles. While checking the place out for the first time, I ordered a taro slush with tapioca and a Mexican taro bun(which I highly recommend) and the cashier cracked a joke about how much I seemed to love taro which really broke the barrier between worker and customer. I go there pretty often since it’s not too far of a walk from where I live and the customer service and food quality remain impeccable.

Newly opened! I know they have one in their Scarborough location on Warden and it has only received 3 stars. I figured, since it’s a new bakery, probably wouldn’t go wrong. It’s a great place so far! The bread is always fresh every morning and there is a very good variety! I’m in love — and also in a lot of trouble with controlling my food intake! I’m glad they finally opened a Chinese bakery closer to home so that I don’t have to trek my way to Scarbs or the ABC Bakery, which sucks(on Vic Park & McNicoll). For now, they have a tea/hot chocolate/coffee & bread combo for $ 1.80. Pretty darn sweet if you’re on your way somewhere and you need a quick, cheap breakfast!
