I wasn’t wow-ed by this place but the coffee was good, service was good and well priced. Try the Mocha Espresso. Well worth it. Nice and quiet when I went there as well so if you are looking for something a bit more intimate, I’d give it a try.

Rachel’s Coffee House is a nice place to have a cup of coffee with friends. There are many people who are coming with friends and chatting one another. Coffee is good. The price is fine, too. I think this place belongs to between Country Style and Second Cup even though Country Style has better baking goods. Many people are chatting, so it is not a good place to do your homework or read a book. Maybe it is good to go there after AA meeting.

I thought I’d found my go-to for getting work done while in Toronto but alas, after 2 weeks of coming, I was informed by the manager of their«One hour maximum» policy and that this was not a «cyber café.» It’s fair enough I suppose, although having spent years and years working in coffee shops, it is a first for me. And it’s not like I was just buying one coffee. Multiple lattes, the odd salad… anyway, point is, if you’re looking for a place to hole up for the afternoon, this is not it. Other than this souring incident… The staff are very sweet for the most part and seem to be on a first name basis with many of their customers. I love that the coffee is fair trade organic and that the lattes are large although taste-wise, they’re average. They could use more healthy options on their menu. It’s cozy and spacious and having grown up in the area, a much needed addition to Yonge & Davisville! Unfortunately, I was all set to recommend it to everyone I know and now I won’t be doing that. Now excuse me while I search for a new home!

An alright independent coffee house, will make you an average Cappuccino or other espresso drinks of choice, snacks are also alright, nothing noteworthy.

Great coffee and pastries, two sized cappuccinos, the large one will last me 45 minutes while eating a chocolate loaf, really good combination. Downstairs súper clean. Really like the décor

I miss this place because I moved to another area but will go back again this summer. The place is extremely clean and staff very friendly. They recognize me anytime I go in there and one day, I even forgot to bring money and they still helped me! The food there is delicious. I love their veggie paninis and cranberry toasts! On top of that, their prices are very reasonable. My friend brought me here and my boyfriend and family love it too! The owner always remembers what I drink! Thank you for being such a great place :)

Very good cappuccino, very friendly and thoughtful service, nice, clean modern interior, and their sweets are great! I tried the everything cookie, and it was awesome! Would definitely go there again.

This is one of my fave coffee houses in this neighbourhood. It’s a great location right along yonge and has a lovely interior. It makes you feel very cozy and like your having coffee at home and not along a busy road. The staff is absolutely kind and welcoming I cannot give enough praise for this place! Prices are very fair for text generous amount of coffee you get too!

Cute spot to hit up with friends or just sit on the patio and people watch! Surprisingly this is a pretty decent size place with plenty of seating — the front seating has nice comfy chairs and there is additional seating in the back. I tried the mango tango and it was delish! You ca actually taste the mango and they make it fresh for you — all blended in front of you. I haven’t tried any of the food but from other reviewers comments the food seems to be good so I will definitely get a bite next time I am in. The staff are really friendly, the décor lovely and the patio in front make it a winner for me.

Great little spot! Coffee is good(I drink mine black) and all the baked goods are so good! I have to hold back each time or else I would leave with 10 food items. Went for lunch one day and I was very satisfied with the rainbow salad w/chicken breast. The ginger dressing was sooooo good, highly recommended!

Surprisingly pretty good. Nice staff, good crema on the americano and tasty. My misses had a thai tea latte and said its one of the best she has had. Could be the only decent place in the area.

As I’m sitting here welcoming spring with the rain, sipping my iced vanilla latte, I just had to write an awesome review on Rachel’s! The service, the atmosphere, the price all fit in perfectly. As a coffee addict I have to say these guys make amazing iced coffees! I’ve made my match and will be coming back for more tomorrow! :)

Met a colleague here for a drink. Very nice spot. The décor is very modern and cozy inside. There is not a huge seating area but large enough to likely find a table. There is parking right in front of the shop. Food is good and they have a nice selection of sandwiches and sweets to go with your drink. Prices seem a little on the high end so that would be my only issue.

Their homemade blueberry lemon scones are freaking AMAZING. I’m drooling just from typing that. They have great coffee/espresso and you can get your drinks made with almond milk which is a huuuuuuge bonus in my books: D Cute and clean décor, great service, and fast wifi — pretty much the perfect café: D

So many high reviews once again set my exceptions way too high. I thought I was going to walk into a place filled with desserts on display but sadly there were only a few options for dessert. I ended up only getting a vanilla ice latte as it was a really hot day. The drink was really good and service was really fast. No complaints about this place other than the lack of dessert selection. I say the butter tarts and knew they are from Maid’s Cottage. I have tried them already and they are amazing but I can’t give credit to Rachel’s Coffee House for another companies hard work.

Came across this coffee house a month ago when I was on my way to pick up my bibs for the sporting life run. At first, it was the name of this coffee house that caught my attention, and because of that reason I decided to walk in and gave it a try with a friend. I’m glad I made the right decision! Although the place is relatively small, but the decoration is very modern and makes you feel very cozy. As an added bonus, you can enjoy unlimited WiFi while sitting in a comfy chair! Food wise, I ordered a green tea latte, a sandwich, salad and a slice of cake to share and all the food were very good. The green tea latte is by far one of the best compare to the big chains coffee shops around the area and the salad was very fresh. I especially loved the way they cut their cucumbers; it did make a big difference! If I ever am in the area again, I will for sure pay another visit!

Rachel’s à la Mountain View Coffee — 100% Fair Trade and Organic Butter Tarts from Maid’s Cottage! Rachel’s Coffee House does everything right! The staff here is cheerful! Love the little patio outside! The only sad thing is my Cappuccino though good tasting but has no latte art since it was a classical«dry» version. Maybe I need to request for one?

Great service here, they greet everyone that comes in, and serve you at your table if you are staying around. The owner is also around, so she will chat with you, and she seems to know all the regulars. I could see this becoming a good neighbourhood hangout if I’m in the area. Prices are also quite reasonable($ 2.10 for a coffee), and they made a pourover for me when they didn’t have a decaf.

Came here for an afternoon coffee and treat with a pal. The décor of this place is really nice! I love the pattern on the wall; the swirls almost make you feel relaxed(in a strange way). You will also notice how clean this place is. As soon as guests leave, their area is cleaned up and ready for another set of guests. I ordered the latte — presentation was great, with latte art and all! I broke my no-sweets diet and ordered an Oreo brownie. It was quite rich, but delicious. Close to Davisville Station, there’s also heaps of(free) street parking around. A solid four star establishment.

This is such a sweet and lovely independent coffee house in the Starbucks — Tim Horton’s — Timothy’s — Second Cup populated Davisville neighbourhood. I had the cucumber and mint tea and a loaf of marbled chocolate bread. OMG — that bread was fresh and delicious! The presentation is so delicate and charming. The place is quite spacious and there was only 1 other patron(~5:30pm on a weekday). The other people inside where the staff and family. It worries me they may not break even! The bathrooms are sparkling clean and they have used tasteful elements to decorate it. …I think they should add afternoon tea to their service…
