I have no idea how these people stay in business. If it weren’t for the local hotels & drunks they’d be out of business. We bought some funky-tastng pastries & fruit salad here & then attitude from the schlep working there. I don’t care what the ‘best before’ date is, it’s off, buddy. Taste it. Over-priced groceries, bad lighting & I’m pretty sure the other dude wasn’t wearing gloves while making ‘Subway’ sands. Just a heads up.

Very convenient when you need to pick up that one thing you forgot at the grocery store or if you’ve run out of something. Prices are quite decent for a convenience store and I find they have an impressive selection of both packaged foods and fresh foods. Their fruit and veggies are good quality and they offer ready-to-eat foods like sushi in the refrigerated section and hot foods as well. The employees are always friendly and the gentleman that owns the store is really helpful!

This is hands down the worst Rabba(on Simcoe, dt) I’ve ever been to. Incident 1) The summer this Rabba opened my boyfriend was working on the Shangri La. He had coffee from Tim Horton’s and potato and egg salad from Rabba. Despite the best before date being more than 4 days away, it made iron-stomached boyfriend sick sick sick: P ! Incident 2) 1 month ago, bought a bunch of deli prepared pre-cut up fruit. When I got home the melon container was completely bad, a bitter, «not quite right» taste. Most of the pineapple was ok… except there were FIVEPIECESOFINEDIBLECORE D: in those little prepared containers– that’s a lot! Incident 3) Tonight, picked up a bag of 4 samosas prepared from the deli. They are over spiced. One bite was a mouthful of coriander. So I moved onto the veggie spring rolls from prepared sushi area. Terrible. Not even an inch of edible goods in any of the rolls. This location has no quality control on their service or goods. The Rabba at Front and Blue Jays Way has way better prices, more sales, better employees, and quality product … but they’ll still sell you the wrong cake. No one’s perfect I guess.

Sales are cheaper than walmart! great staff, most of them are pretty friendly. Avoid going here during lunch hour, lots of construction workers are there and line ups are sometimes huge around their lunch break

I am a fan of this place. I love that it’s open 24/7, makes it even more convenient that I could’ve hoped for. Esp, when I’m drunk and I crave a Dr. Oetker frozen pizza and vitamin water. They have a small amount of produce to choose from but thats to be expected from such a small location. It has just enough options of everything to make it a go to place if I need to throw a meal together. O and there’s also a Subway inside. The sushi is not bad either. I’m at this place at least a couple times a week. Staff is friendly and the checkout lines moves pretty fast. Most customers in there aren’t doing a huge grocery trip

I love to hate Rabba. I love to hate that it’s so conveniently located. I love to hate that it’s open 24 hours. I love to hate that they have everything I normally need in terms of groceries, just overpriced. I love to hate how it’s just a teeeeeeeny bit overpriced– but not enough to motivate me to trek to the loblaws. I love to hate how they always have sushi ready to go at a moment’s notice… even at 3am. I love to hate how they only ever seem to have Jamie Oliver spices/sauces. But most of all… I love to hate that I keep coming back, despite its shortcomings. Damn you, Rabba, for knowing my weaknesses: laziness and hunger at all times of the night!

This Rabba is super clean, amazingly stocked with good, fresh foods and is not overpriced! It’s actually cheaper than most, and it’s in the downtown core! I like going here to pick up quick lunches as well as to buy groceries for home. Definitely one of my favourite grocery stores in Toronto. Just this location though, some of the other Rabbas are horrid.

Very convenient and most prices are comparable to Loblaws or Longo’s. I have to admit, most times i visit Rabba it’s because I’m on my way home from the bars and I’m craving pizza. I stop in before i head upstairs to my apartment and load up on frozen pizza and vitamin waters. And even though I’m usually pretty hammered as that point, the staff is always nice to me… from what I remember.

This grocery store is my «go-to» due to its convenient location. You can find most things one needs when travelling on business for a couple of weeks — cereal, salads, dairy and fruits. There is also a hot station and a Subway sandwich place inside the store; though, I have not tried it. Prices are a bit high. Still it is more affordable than hotel room service. It is open 24 hours. Very convenient.
