There used to be a number of drug stores in Parkdale, Guardian being one of the larger ones. This store even has a post office that is open until late in the evening. I really like the service and convenience of this postal outlet.
Unfortunately, the store itself runs the risk of become obsolete if it doesn’t improve. The store needs a good scrub and remodeling especially since a new Shopper’s Drug Mart has opened few blocks away in response to a large number of yuppies and hipsters moving into the neighbourhood. This has changed the dynamics of doing business and I no longer shop here, why would I when there are cleaner and better options?
That’s how the capitalist system works. adapt or perish.

They have Canada Post at the back of the store. It’s the main reason I go there. The rest of the store is okay. It’s kinda crowded and has some random stuff for a drugstore, but when I can’t find what I need at Shoppers, I go there.

I haven’t used this pharmacy much for the pharmacy services but more-​so for the Canada Post postal outlet within. Service is always friendly and fast. No complaints what-​so-​ever.
The «over the counter» items within the pharmacy seem to have a decent stock, but the prices are a bit high.
