This place is as good as it gets! From the warm hospitality to the hot jokes and the killer hair, I can’t ever imagine going anywhere else.
I started going here back when it was Saloon Salon and Ronnie just would give me a nice trim to my then virgin hair. Since the transformation to Palm Sunday things have only gotten better.
I will just just advise to BOOK AHEAD … trust me its worth the wait!

I have been coming here for probably 7 or 8 years. It started as the Saloon and now Palm Sunday. Kat is truly a wonderful person and an even better stylist. Cutting or coloring shes amazing at both! She is also extremely busy so call like a month ahead of when you want to go in.
Ronnie is another hair rock star! I booked with her when I couldn’t see Kat and I was not disappointed! She is also very busy, so book ahead!
From the décor to the staff, you cant go wrong with Palm Sunday!

This place. I love everything about coming here, from the staff to the cuts to the décor.
DECOR: It’s bright, clean, and vibrant. Make sure you go to the washroom, too. I’m not kidding.
STAFF: From the front desk to your stylist, everyone greets & treats you like an old friend and there’s none of that posh salon snobbery.
SERVICE: I HATE getting haircuts. Hate hate hate. My hair is very long, curly, and fine — and it seems like most hairdressers just see long hair and go scissor happy. Not Ronnie. She’s a hair goddess. She actually listens to what I want (which is: just get rid of my split ends and give me layers or i’ll have a mental breakdown) and delivers an expert haircut. My layers and shape hold really well as my hair grows out, and I never leave feeling like I lost half of my ponytail. I’ve only had one colour treatment with her in which she took me back to my natural colour after an ombré mishap at a different salon that shall not be named. Unbelievable. My hair looked healthier than ever when she was done, and I didn’t have to sit there for hours and hours getting painted. I have a friend who exclusively comes to Ronnie for her blonde colour and it always looks amazing, so if I every need a colour treatment I’d fully trust my hair in Ronnie’s hands.
PRICE: As somebody who doesn’t mind paying for a quality haircut, I think the prices here are incredibly reasonable. Prices are posted on the website.

I saw Kendra and she did amazing work! I had long chocolate brown hair and she did a lighter balayage and I LOVE it! I haven’t left a hair salon happy in about 10 years. She met with me for a consult then I booked an appt for a week later (the soonest she could fit me in). Then salon is pretty, clean and relaxing, provided tea and trashy mags-​my fav! I’ll def be back soon!

I’m new to the hair colouring world, and I couldn’t have had a better introduction than I did with Kendra!
The process was totally informative, relaxing, and inclusive. Kendra walked me through the right colour selection and really paid attention to the overall look I was going for.
The salon is clean, cool and inviting — I will definitely be coming back!

I am a huge Palm Sunday fan! I go to Ronnie who is fantastic, but all the stylists show a ton of talent. This is the first salon I’ve been to in Toronto where I’ve gotten exactly what I wanted and wasn’t over charged. I would highly recommend — as a tip book far in advance if you’re hoping to get a week night or weekend time. Also as a bonus, they booked me in for a consult first which was really nice!

I prefer trial-​by-​fire when testing out a new stylist. I went into Palm Sunday for the first time on Saturday looking to go from hair just past my shoulders to a long-​ish pixie. After checking that I was really sure, Kendra went for it and did an awesome job at giving me a super easy (I have two small children), yet professional and stylish. To top it off, there was just a great vibe in the place. Staff and customers were all chatty and friendly. I look forward to making this my regular place.

This salon is the greatest. Ronnie is a killer stylist who always makes my hair look great — whether I’m getting a simple bob or a Joan Jett haircut. I don’t know how to describe haircuts to make them sound cool or as good as she makes ‘em look.
I’ve had colour done here too, and it’s always on point.
They do exactly what you want, but better than you imagined. And the staff are so wonderful. They make you feel right at home. I never go anywhere else!

Love everything about these folks. Skilled, professional, fun, down-​to-​earth, warm and kind as all-​get-​out. Coming from Vancouver, I was getting married in TO where I grew up, and was understandably nervous to be in new hands for hair and make-​up for such a big day based only on recommendations. But from booking to consult to day-​of styling to toasting with champagne (on them, and vegan for me), I was blown away. When we move back to TO, I look forward to being a regular client. I enjoyed sitting in Kat (hair) and Cristina’s (makeup) chairs – they were amazing – but I love ‘em all. I am a Palm Sunday convert.

Kat is awesome! I went from dark brunette to a light purple. She was attentive, took her time and my hair still feels nice and soft. I got to see a few clients come in and out and everyone looked amazing!

Palm Sunday is the best of the best. period.
My stylist was Mark and he did an absolute great job on my hair. I went in with boring brassy brown hair and came out as a silver moon princess. I was really surprised that he could lift my hair to the exact silvery slate colour that I wanted and without totally killing my hair. Also it didn’t hurt my wallet as much as I thought it would, which is a huge plus.
The décor was great and the staff was super fun.
I am definitely going back here for further hair endeavours.

I have been getting my hair cut at the Saloon, now Palm Sunday, for the last six years. There’s more than one reason I keep going back. Kat is truly lovely — always ready with a smile and a genuine warmth that never seems to waiver (even at the end of a long day!). She is also extremely talented. Her passion for her profession and the love she pours into every inch of the business is evident. I was initially drawn to the saloon because of it’s size. Larger places downtown feel very impersonal and intimidating. Not so at Palm Sunday. I’ll be returning for a cuts and colour as long as I live in TO.

After many years of searching, I have found my new hair salon! The stylists and owners, Kat & Ronnie, are welcoming, friendly, and obviously talented. Everyone at the salon is cheerful and accommodating (re-​booking me at my request on very short notice).
Kat did wonders with my unruly hair and gave me a ‘do’ that I never thought was possible for my hair type. Revolutionary! She’s very intuitive about styles for particular face shapes and hair textures. Kat was referred to me by a friend and I am referring to her to all of you! The salon uses Kevin Murphy products, an all-​natural Australian line that smells incredible, makes your hair silky smooth, and actually works wonders (despite being all-​natural).
The salon itself is bright, spacious, and clean. The eclectic bathroom is definitely worth checking out. Their website is pretty wild too. There is plenty of free street parking right out front and the bustle of Ossington is just around the corner so you can celebrate your new look with a cocktail and some shopping (as I most certainly did!).

Amazing atmosphere and even more amazing-​er people! Once you walk into Palm Sunday you’ll never want to leave. Super friendly, the best banter and no one or nowhere better to have life chats. Kat, Ronnie, Shane and Mark will make you feel right at home.
Kat’s been cutting my hair for time! By now it’s probably been about 7 – 8 years! Every time she cuts my hair, I leave more impressed. No matter what, I know I’ll always walk out looking super rad! The level of trust is so extreme that it’s gotten to the point that I just walk in and let her do whatever she wants with my hair. Not only is she super talented, but she’s also one of the coolest chicks you’ll ever meet; I’d trust her with my life.
Palm Sunday is an amazing upgrade from the Saloon and a must to check out. If you’re looking for a new salon or just an unreal haircut, definitely hit up Palm Sunday because they’re pretty much the best in the biz.

Yes LOVE palm sunday! Honestly so amazing. I went here once when it was the saloon and it was good but the person who did my hair left. I had Mark and he was amazing! BEST shampoo oh my goodnessss and he was so cool and funny. Also you have to visit the bathroom it’s insane!!! I love the vibe here and they have so many cute things at the front, I went home with a Regina George votive candle.
