I met these guys 18 years ago. I borrowed a hammer from them to hang pictures in a new apartment. When I returned I bought some art for my new place. I have been buying from them for myself and gifts ever since. Its a very friendly nice space and calm space to visit. Leo’s work is very unique and inspiring. Definitely highly recommended as part of any Kensington tour.

Wow! Wow! Wow! ! Been wanting to write this review for ever because i feel these guys deserve more recognition, so i finally signed up for Unilocal!hehe.
This store is an oasis tucked inside the belly of Kensington market.
Amongst the bustle of the shops, under the nose of many a market goer, Orbital arts sits patiently and holds a peaceful space. Upon entering, you can feel a shift from the intensity of the city. Always greeted with smiles and bright eyes, Joe and Leo echo the ambiance of their mixed media artwork.
Hanging the walls and adorning the antique furniture, the Splashes of colour, and geometrical designs keep the focus of the viewer while inter-​dimensional compositions and sacred geometrical designs set the tone of the work. From Darth Vader to Jesus there is a plethora of meanings, visuals, and themes to explore, and no one is the same.
Truly in-​spirited art! If you’re looking for a meaningful gift at any price range, this is your spot. I have been fortunate to get know Joe and Leo by visiting their shop over the years, and every piece I have purchased has left it’s mark and meaning on the hearts of those who have received the gift. These two wonderful artists continue to share incredible art with the world year after year, a must visit, must see for Toronto in general!

Orbital Arts is a fantastic art gallery located in Kensington market. They are vendors of out of the ordinary art, furniture, keepsakes, and jewellery. Themes of spiritualism, symbolism and self awareness permeate the work. I have purchased several pieces from this gallery. The owners are delightful and obliging. They take the time to explain to you the various symbols that they utilized and the significance and meaning of each piece. This body of work is very thought provoking. Pop in, take a look around and get your Mindstream flowing.

How did I find this GEM? Ask the universe. How have I not seen this 14 yr old shop in the heart of Kensington Market until today… I am not sure. But I feel very good about having discovered it.
Leo, the artist and owner creates his very spiritual art that not only is for the aesthetic value but it is designed with a purpose, to open your consciousness and possibly heal or help allow for personal transformation. Leo uses combinations of old pieces like window frames together with his paintings /​drawings /​3D /​and whatever he feels sends the universal message the best… Transformation and energy are key. He also uses giant crystals, Plates, Cards, Furniture, and many other kinds of canvases. I highly recommend visiting this GEM :)
