The boots I bought from these guys are GREAT. My 13 year old Shepherd /​Akita mix has degenerative myelopathy that causes him to drag his back toes on walks. These boots have him literally back on his feet. They protect his toes, and they give him the stability he needs to enjoy his walks again on the concrete here in NYC. I’ve owned a dog training business for over 16 years, and these are the first and only boots I recommend to my clients.

My female Doberman broke a toe when she was 6 months old. The next day she became ill. The vet said it was pain and gave us pain meds. The day after she was worse. This time the vet convinced us it was addisons disease and had to keep her. While he tested her for Addisons, a staph infection was eating her foot off under the bandage. Eventually he caught it but the toes were dead and had to be removed by an emergency specialist at a different hospital. I sued the original vet and the med board is investigating him.
My girl needed support and protection while running on all four, when she eventually could run. I’ve tried other shoes and expensive fabricated braces and NOTHING gave her the mobility or stayed on. She’s now a 70 lbs sprinter at 2 years old and Neopaws have saved her.
I have not met Roanna, but she’s been very helpful over the phone. My girls paw is disfigured by the infection and Roanna helped me choose the right size using her intuition and a tracing of the paw. I’m super grateful.

I bought boots for my dog two months ago. I bought a pair of easier, slip-​on boots as well, but they were too small (though the woman working there assured me they would fit and if they didn’t, I could return them). With Christmas and the store’s weird hours, I wasn’t able to return them before today, but didn’t think it would be an issue as no return policy was given to me when I purchased the boots and she had told me, if you have an issue, just bring them back.
Well, today was a different story. When I asked for a refund, she told me she could give me the refund but I would be charged a restocking fee. And she didn’t tell me how much that would be. When I protested and said I hadn’t been told about the policy and I would prefer a refund, she said, «You know what, you can wait. I don’t want to deal with you right now.» Then she said I would need to wait and speak with another woman. I waited and a friend called me in the meantime and said the «restocking» fee was illegal. When I said that on the phone, suddenly she was able to grab cash and refund me $ 23 (cash) of the $ 25 (which I had paid by credit card) she owed me. I will be looking into the «restocking fee» question a little more.
I have bought boots here twice. This woman has been crusty both times but today took the cake. The day I bought the boots she was dropping the F bomb continuously. If she would back up the «promises» she is so quick to make when she is closing the sale, I would continue to shop there. But I will never shop at this store again and I will tell all my friends about the service I received so they can be forewarned to avoid shopping at Neopaws and being treated very poorly by this woman.

If I could rate a ½ star, I would. We live in the U.S. and after an internet search for a dog rainsuit, ordered from Neopaws. The product fit horribly, which is okay. You take your chances when ordering anything. What we didn’t expect however, was the major hassles and rude treatment– when attempting to return it for refund. These folks are terrible at returning emails, and I receive better service from the man picking up my garbage. After having to resort to contacting the BBB for help, the owner begrudgingly supplied a partial refund for «boots». We didn’t order boots in the first place, and she washed her hands of us. How these places stay in business is beyond me. Can you say BUYER BEWARE?!

I just drove by NeoPaws and three dogs are off leash and alone on her driveway. Again.
I’m floored. I have seen so many posters for her lost dogs… She really doesn’t learn her lessons does she? How many dogs does she have to lose? I have shopped here in the past and never will support this person again. Absolutely irresponsible.
My dealings with her in the past have been similar in the sense that her dogs are always off leash and she doesn’t care if that makes you or your dog uncomfortable. Plus her customer service is full of *F-​bombs* and other such profanity.
I’ll buy anyone else’s product but hers. Just on principle.

Poor customer service is putting it mildly! I called to be sure of the correct size boots to order for my dog. The website says to call if you’re not sure. She answers the phone by saying hello, like she’s at home rather than at a place of business. When I asked about sizing she said WHAT?! and cut me off abruptly, saying she wasn’t in the best of moods, that she had a hundred other customers before me. She said she’d have to call me back, but never did. The way she said it I felt slapped in the face. She clearly has some personal problems that are interfering with her ability to do business. Why she doesn’t have someone else answer the phone is beyond me.
The boots look good though, so I’m going to order them from the gun dog supply so I don’t have to deal with her at all.

This store and the owner, Ronnie deserve a zero star rating. I made my order online. She emailed me and told me that my boot color was not in stock and asked me if it was okay to replace the color with another color. I emailed her back and told her to cancel my order as I was not interested in the replacement color she had available. I then received a package from this company and realized that she never canceled my order. When I contacted her via email to resolve the issue, she proceeded to yell at me in all capitals and told me I was being «RIDICULOUS».
It became apparent that she chose to ignore my cancellation email request and ship out the order anyway based on our email conversation. She had extremely poor communication and repeatedly failed to address my concerns regarding returning the boots I had not ordered, let alone reply to my emails in an appropriate and professional manner. She berated and yelled at me in numerous emails while I was nothing but courtesy to her. All I had wanted was to get a refund and return the boots she sent me in error, but she would not agree to a refund until the boots were in her possession and unless I paid for return shipping.
I finally had to file a complaint with the BBB and a dispute with my bank as she was unwilling to cooperate. I was easily awarded the chargeback since I have proof of everything that occurred via our email conversations.
I honestly don’t even know how this woman is in business. I have done business with many types of people, but never someone as rude, disrespectful or dishonest as Ronnie. Anyway, aside from her extremely poor treatment of myself and my husband, the boots failed to keep my dogs feet warm as they are not insulated. The neoprene is a breathable like material and does not help much against the outdoor ambient temperature. They buy us a few extra minutes outside at most, which really is not worth the asking price of the boots to me. Several of the boots were also shipped to me with short straps, making them unable to wrap around the boot several times and leaving the boots loose fitting around my dogs legs.
I found a great set of fleece insulated boots with a gripping sole for my dog on etsy and am much happier with them. They are also cheaper, hand made, and sewn by someone who has great business practices.

We were looking at different stores in the area to get new jackets for our three Poms. We went to the store door and were met with a sign that directed us to a door on River Street. Upon entering we were in the bottom of a very small hall with another person and were greated with «go back outside and bang the snow off your boots» while this same person was «barking» at someone else to move their car… No hello, no can I help you, my daughter and I looked at each other and promptly walked back out and went across to a lovely little store called Bark Place and spent our $ 200 their! We found lovely coats, treats, beds and all sorts of really cute items. wonderful ppl too! After speaking of our experience at the dog parks many ppl have the same opinion of the lack and terrible service at Neo Paws
