Stayed in the summer hotel in 1996 and someone in the staff gained entry to my room and stole my watch and jewellery and likely pawned it off for money. Other than that I had a roof over my head in a time of crisis and I met some cool friends.

The age old axiom of «you get what you pay for» somewhat sums up the experience. It’s not bad really but it’s not good either. Any time you spend in the room, you’re going to be bored out of your mind because the room has a bed, and… I think that’s pretty much it. No TV; any entertainment you’re looking for will be better found amongst the drunk transvestites on the street below. If you’re staying there in the summer, then you’re probably going to be miserable because there isn’t any air conditioning. But it is seriously on the cheap side, so if you plan to spend very little time in the room except maybe to pass out after a night of debauchery, then it’ll work fine. If you’re like me and you’ve outgrown your university days of sharing bathrooms with complete strangers, and you like the idea of being sweat free, keep looking. This place still has some pleasant nostalgic feelings associated with it though, because it was where I was staying when I met my girlfriend(you can say«awwww» now).
