I haven’t had such a horrible experience in a hair salon before. women in the salon was unfriendly and provided seriously bad service! She was telling me high prices and pretending she was doing me a favor. She made me pay 50 $ for just a roots. and her salon is messy, ugly and feels dirty! I specifically asked to not make my hair look orangey and she made it just like that. her colors aren’t good enough. Even her blow-​dryer wasn’t working properly. Anyhow it was an experience which i wish i will not have any more… and hope I’ll save somebody from same experience.

Got a wash and retwist, plus a moisturizing treatment and an updo at a VERY reasonable price.
Melinda is friendly and efficient, and she knows her stuff where natural black hair concerned. She used natural products, including shea butter for the retwist process (no gel or wax or blended product).
Oils are better than gels and butters for dreadlocks (less buildup and residue in your hair) but she was light handed and my Locs felt good .
Can’t do shea butter too often but Melinda’s prices are unbeatable– $ 45 for shampoo and retwist and style.

Extra tip– confirm your booking by text msg close to the date. Have had calendar communication issues sadly
