Have been here on several occasions, always happy with the results.
Came in 2 years ago, having just purchased a pair of knee high tan leather boots that I wanted to dye black. Asked whether they sell leather dye (they do) and probably seemed a bit nervous (but determined!) about dying the boots myself; was asked about what I was planning to do, then given several detailed instructions and tips, as well as general encouragement that I could do this myself. Bought the dye ($ 10ish) and dyed the boots successfully, but after the dye dried the seams appeared to be coming apart a bit. A bit panicked, I came back here with the boots, and was patiently shown that the seams were only «relaxing» a bit from my cleaning/​dying/​manipulating the leather. They then just touched up the dye where needed on the spot. No charge and super helpful.
Went in again last week with the same boots to be resoled. New leather soles and heels were about $ 80, everything done expertly, and boots (always) returned cleaned, polished, shined — better than new.
Definitely recommend, zero complaints.
Also they have a sign up «unpolished shoes are the open fly of your feet» …i like them.
