So I’m not going to write this review based on the quality of the product, which is consistently great and well worth the high price tag. I’m writing this review based on the actual store. I have found the customer service at this location to be slightly worse than the Eaton Centre — I need to seek people out to help me find a size or a change room and I have spent minutes trying to reach things that are hung up high without any of the sales people taking notice or helping. It can be a little frustrating when the service at other locations is so consistently strong. That being said, I think the free yoga classes offered here are fantastic. The space is bright and actually quite large once the tables are moved out of the way. They provide mats and drinks and the instructors rotate so it’s great if you’re new to yoga and haven’t found your practice of choice yet. The store layout is easy to navigate and the products are well displayed. Overall, a nice spot in Yorkville!

We all know stuff is super well designed and being in apparel retail I salute the innovation and design at Lulu. This review is based totally on service and I think that’s what Unilocal review of an international chain at individual location should be. about service. So long story short .1st time lululemon customer as ofcourse its $$$ …bought couple of full priced items. come home and see the nice lady(she was genuinely nice) didn’t remove the huge plastic sensors. Returned today, stood in line and explained to the light beard man behind counter… with a straight face comes reply. reciept? We show the reciept and the plastic comesoff. Forget the apologies, not even a smily remark«hope u don’t mind me asking for reciept». Seriously, wat happened to yoga loving, good vibe, be nice to others Lulu? Or my bad luck that I dealt with one of the lemons?

VIBE If you need to chill out, this is definitely your place. It’s definitely different with the employees working with kettle balls(no, it’s not a drug) and getting into pigeon pose right outside the store. The employees are very friendly, helpful and perky! But the woman at the cash was meh. It was a big issue for my chip card to be swiped because of their new system. Every other place I’ve been to has been able to swipe it and they were adamant not to really try it. Thankfully, I have two credit cards(kids, always have one VISA and one Mastercard in case of an emergency). Kayla was great in the fitting room; helpful but not obtrusive and gave me her honest opinion. THEGOODS It’s basically a yoga class to try ON yoga clothes. So in I went ready to practice my breathing exercises looking for the perfect pair of workout pants(specifically for spin class). The selection is good but it’s not what it used to be. Maybe I don’t like change? I don’t know. A lot of the pants are really bunchy at the bottom and ALL of them are tight. That said, baby got BACK. And nothing sparks up your insecurity than a 360 degree mirror shining a light on your cellulite. It sucks. Back to the pants. I ended up going with the Groove Crop. They’re cropped(duh) as to not bunch up but have a little bit of a flare that let my leg breathe. I may need to roll them up during spin but I can also wear them after class, so I’m cool with that. Plus it has a little top pocket where I can stash my keys or cards(but why would I in the top of my pants?!). I miss the Whisper tank. I wish they brought it back. Or at least brought back tanks that you can wear a normal bra with. They all have some funky cut out in the back but I do love that they are long and fashionable. Their shorts look great too but I was spent after trying on so many pairs of pants. And no, they ain’t cheap but they last. OBLIGATORYCATCHYREMARK Lu Lu-sing my mind over this location. Well designed; good staff and nice set up. Groove Crop for the win!

«Those must be space-pants, because your ass is really out of this world!!!» «Not quite, but they ARE from Lululemon!» I like this location. The staff is all very friendly and not pretentious. One very helpful employee(Ewan) stands patiently outside the change rooms, bringing different sizes and styles and helping me choose. Yes, Lululemon is rather expensive, but I honestly feel the pricing is justifiable. Everything I have ever purchased here has lasted ages. My fav pair of pants have gone through two years of boxing workouts and they still look and feel new.

Just to add my vote from a guy’s perspective. Got an amazing pair of «Formula» pants from LL for Christmas. Service is excellent as well. As others have mentioned, you do pay for what you get(or in my case, someone else paid for what I got).

I didn’t want to jump on the Lulu bandwagon but here I am… Yes, it’s really expensive clothing, and a little too ‘trendy’ for my liking, but I have tried other lines of yoga clothing(Roots, Nuala/Puma, Old Navy, Nike) and nothing is really as functional, flattering, and well-made as Lululemon’s yoga wear. Also, customer service is consistently good. Staff are always really helpful and friendly. The great thing is that there is a lot more that the store offers beyond merchandise. You can stop by for information on local yoga/pilates studios(lots of flyers and many of them have special promotions if you are visiting the studio for the first time) or a free yoga class on Sunday mornings. The last time I went to one of the classes, it was an excellent teacher from Ahimsa Yoga. It’s a short class, just 1 hour, and sometimes can be tricky because it’s «all levels», but I’ve been generally impressed with the quality of teachers they bring in. They often have free herbal teas, orange slices, and pitas to munch on after class — a nice touch.

The service at this location has been great each time I’ve been inside. Most recently, I decided to purchase a few things for my hot-yoga loving husband’s birthday. The people who worked there were super helpful and made it easy to choose a few items that would make a nice gift. Yes, it’s pricey, but the quality is great. Plus, the clothes are flattering as well as functional. Lululemon gets two asanas up!

Another weekend, another attack on my debit card at Lululemon. But somehow they make you leave the situation feeling happy. It’s a wonderful talent! This store was on Bloor until a few days ago apparently. I wandered in as part of my search for comfy lounging/pottering around the place trousers(pants). The excess ice-cream of the summer has resulted in a marked reduction in wearable items in my wardrobe, sadly. But, I digress! This branch, despite being in upmarket Yorkville, still retains a really friendly feel and a relaxed atmosphere. All the staff were really smiley and friendly and I managed to seek out the trousers I wanted no problem. As I left the changing room, the assistant asked how I got on. I replied that I was going to buy them but would have to shorten them. She informed me that they hem them FORFREE. I hopped up on a stool and she pinned them-they should be ready in a few days. And they keep them for up to a year! The good: –Gorgeous clothes –Great yoga accessories –Friendly staff –Free yoga on Sundays at 10am –Free hemming! The bad: –The stuff is pricey. But you knew that. The ugly: –My face when I realise I can’t have it all…
