I went in today for some gruyère and was delighted to find that all of the cheeses in the display were labelled! The display looks so much better. The cheeses are well-merchandised and look attractive. Also, the woman who helped me(young, brown hair, glasses) was very friendly and knowledgeable. This experience gives me hope that Leslieville Cheese Shop has turned a corner and is on its way back to greatness!

Came here after a haircut and saw the board which read«half priced grilled cheese». You got me at half priced. They have an array of soups, meats, breads, cheeses, etc. Great service.

This cheese shop has turned me into a cheese connoisseur. I’ve been in easily a dozen times now and every time they’re always more than willing to supply samples of anything you’re interested in. This is a great tactic for them since it always means I end up buying more than I had planned :) My favorite cheeses there so far are the smoked bluecheese(purple haze I believe) and the balsamic washed cheese from wisconsin(name I can never remember). The store has some bread in stock as well(ace bakery I believe) but I’d recommend going early in the day to get the best fresh baguettes. While they’re too pricey for me on a daily basis their grilled pannini’s are very good and they have a variety of dipping sauces, the piri piri’s my favorite.
