LCBO

It was late friday evening, as we complete our treasure hunt with limited crafty success we were told the store was closing (immediately). True enough it was nine-​ish, a state of sadness pours over me not having another hour of hunting glory. That only means one thing… Time to check-​out and drown my sorrows with what little liquid asset I hold dear to my heart (and belly).
{walk up to the cashier}
{fondling my behind} SHIT!
Me: Sorry, I left my wallet in my car. I’ll go get it.
Cashier: Where’s your car?
choices a) outside –parking lot steps away–
(Me) b) huh?! –lcbo interrogation method. act dumb–
c) not nearby but I’m standing here just for show
Me: outside
Cashier shouts to a staff to unlock the door.
My friend heads out to retrieve money.
She is still very curious where the car is.

Cashier: Where’s your car?
Out·side. a) a city in scandinavia ?
(Cashier) b) a chinese word for WTF ?
c) does not compute
(another 5 sec pass)
My friend returns with payment and we’re allowed to leave.

This LCBO location is growing on me as it is right beside Longo‘s! The store is well stocked and there is never a line to leave. Always nice to stop in and grab a bottle of red after shopping for your dinner. This store does seem to have a wider selection then some LCBO‘s especially being a smaller sized store, there does seem to be a wide assortment here!

A new LCBO just opened up at York Mills Gardens, Corner of Leslie and York Mills.
Really well stocked with VQA and Beers since the store has a WOW (World of Ontario Wines) and even a Beer Ambassador.
Huge Walk in Beer Cooler room, I do suggest to wear a jacket if you going to spend more than 5 minute inside there. since it is just as cold as my fridge!
Surprisingly, I couldn’t find any Sakes in stock here aside from Soju. Hopefully, they might have some in the future.
Parking can be a problem as it is right next to Longos, just be really careful with all these nice huge cars and SUVs trying to back out from their spots!
