The laundromat attendant glares at me every time I come in and acts like it is some big ordeal to get me change every time.

I wish that the Laundry Lounge provided our neighbourhood with quality service. Unfortunately, the service at the Lounge is short and brutish. One is given the impression that your mere presence is an annoyance. The dry cleaning prices are quite eye, give the sorry state of affairs facing prospective clients.

I’ve been going to The Laundry Lounge for about six months now, and I’ve become quite familiar and comfortable with this place. It’s very clean, is well-staffed by people who know what they’re doing, and seem to be motivated to ensure total customer satisfaction. Their wash and fold service is amazing! And so is the folding, which sets them apart from other places. It’s extremely well done. I can’t fold worth shit! These people do a great job! There’s a real«art» to it, and they’re the best! I sometimes do my own washing on weekends off. I put my clothes in the washer and go to the nearby Starbucks to grab a coffee knowing that my stuff is under the watchful eye of their on-site staff. You can’t ask for more!

Laundry Lounge is the WORST, they use all washers and dryers for towels that come from gyms, which ends up having all the customers wait for a washer and dryer.

Discovering the wash-dry-fold service here has changed my life! It’s on my way to work, and I can drop laundry off on my way in and pick it up on the way home. So convenient, and not much more expensive than doing everything myself in a laundromat.

Clean facility, great machines, fair prices. I haven’t used the wash and fold service, but it seems to be very popular! Lots to do within walking distance of the area. Not a lot of seating… so plan to go for a coffee or a nice lunch while you wait! I recommend bringing a big load and using the $ 5 machine. It’s worth it.

Clean, convenient to downtown with generous hours. They offer a drop off service w the price based on weight and speed. I got in just under the cutoff for the fastest(3-hour turnaround) and they took care of me and had my laundry done early. Coin-op DIY if you want to save $. The neighborhood is safe(very close to univ.) and the business is staffed during open hours so you can start a load and grab a bite, drink or shop on Yonge St. while your clothes get clean. Great option for travelers.

My washing machine broke a few weeks ago and as I’m waiting for Sears to repair it(taking much longer than I anticipated), anyhow I found myself in need of a laundry mat close to where I live. Laundry Lounge is only a couple blocks away. I got in there this morning(Sunday) around 9:45am — the place opens at 8 am and this morning there was just two other people, not busy. The machines were nice and clean and relatively new. There were about 15 washing machines and about 10 – 12 dryers. The whole place is not very big, but very functional. The washroom was for customers only — and was very clean and even freshly painted. They don’t have a bench out front(which would be nice to wait outside for your laundry instead of inside where is it a little warm), but they have a couple chairs inside to sit on. They also have a wash and fold service and that was busy ! Hmmmm… maybe next time that would be a thought ! The gentleman on site was very nice and provided change and even showed me how the washers worked. He helped several customers, he even helped a lady fold her comforter ! That is really good customer service. Twenty five minutes later the wash was done and moved the loads to the dryers which were efficient and took less than an hour. Large areas for folding and big bang boom your done ! The place is a return if i need to come back.

WORSTSERVICEEVER!!! I will never return! The first time I dropped off my jacket I told informed them it had a busted zipper that needed to be replaced. When my partner went to pick it up for me she called and told me that they had not replaced anything and didn’t know what to do. I returned with hopes it was just a one time mistake. Wrong. They LOSTMYJACKET and told me they didn’t have the numbers of anyone who worked there so they could not call around and find out what happened to it! I described the jacket and he came back with nothing in hand. Refusing to leave without my only defense against the winter I was allowed to go back with his friend and look around. I then found my jacket but was told I still could not take it home! There was no identification on my jacket even though i personally had my slip and had described the jacket previously to entering the room. I put my partner on speaker phone and had her describe it as well as showed photos of me wearing it and NOTHING! The man told me there was no way I was leaving with it. I said I would pay whatever he wanted and he told me he would not help me. He was unbelievable rude to me and made me feel like a criminal for wanting to have my own jacket back. Currently I am at home after an hour of back and fourth with NOJACKET just pure frustration. NEVERGOHEREITISTHEWORSTSERVICE I HAVEEVERHADANDCLEARLYTHEREISNOORGANIZATIONORCUSTOMERSERVICE.

I wanted to like this place so bad as it’s so close and convenient to my place but I shall never return! 1st visit I had the hem of a skirt shortened… $ 16 later, work done wasn’t bad but I’m pretty sure it’s not that hard to shorten a hem… major rip off! 2nd visit I take my Alice and Oliva SILK romper to be dry cleaned. As I dropped it off, i inform the attendant of the stains and i watched him place fluorescent stickers to mark the spots and pay the $ 20 charge. I arrive days later to pick up the item and low and behold I have dark stains where the stickers were placed! Horrified, I ask to speak to someone in charge and they assure me they will take care of it «no charge»… whatever! I should’ve asked for a refund. Piece of advice, pay after services have been rendered. I calmly accept as there’s no point in freaking out on him… A couple of days later, i come to pick up my garment and they can’t find it… still not freaking out… attendant calls the owner who is able to locate garment elsewhere. I look over my silk romper and notice that it’s been shrunk. I don’t think silk can be cleaned with extreme heat but I’m assuming in order to remove the stains they produced it had to be done. The garment has completely lost it’s lustre and in hindsight I should’ve demanded they replace the garment. This place is a rip off and they have no idea what they’re doing AVOIDAVOIDAVOID. Laundry lounge you are the worst! I’d give you negative stars if I had the option.

Great opening deal on dry cleaning dress shirts…2 for 1… and they are only $ 2.99 which is super cheap. Our building only has 2 washers and 3 dryers so we have to find a good laundry spot and I pick this one! Its a good size and the building looks well put together. I really like the fact that the windows for the dry cleaning section are larege and you can see them working. kinda makes you feel better about your shit not getting tampered with lol
