Kindercare Pediatrics

This is a newly opened Pediatric practice that has an after hours clinic every night from 6 to 10 pm. The name of the after-​hours walk in is called Kid E Care.
My daughter is complaining of a sore throat so we’re here to see if she has Strep like her sisters had a few weeks ago. Fortunately, they have a rapid strep test so we’ll find out if she’ll also need antibiotics.
We arrived @ 6:45 and were seen by the nurse about 15 minutes later, after an exam, a rapid strep test (negative) and a sticker we were home and in bed before 8 pm. So an hour and 15 minutes including drive time is pretty good. There was only 1 doc and 1 nurse on call so it took longer to look at 3 patients than I would have expected, but they did take more time with my daughter than a traditional churn n burn doctor would have (which was nice for her).
The clinic director told me that their objective is to have their patients seen quickly as they don’t want to have lots of sick kids in their waiting room. There’s not really any toys for the kids to use in the waiting room so bring your own or bring some books.
This is now our go to place for after hours pediatrics… great location, friendly staff, efficient.
