New Store in the Annex: KASHMIR MAPLE.
No. they don’t sell Maple anything… it’s referring to the gorgeous Maple trees in their homeland.
What they do sell:
— gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous 100% CASHMERE shawls and scarves
— soft wool shawls and scarves
— wool/​silk blend or cashmere/​silk blend or silk shawls and scarves
many are hand-​embroidered, beautifully so.
Superb quality and Excellent price point.
They also have genuine Pashminas in the backroom. the real deal.
Hand-​embroidered tapestries. Rugs, cushions, traditional wear, and some pottery.
It’s all beautiful. You can afford something from there. The brothers who own the place are just really nice guys.
I did leave with a Cashmere shawl. It is gorgeous, falls beautifully as cashmere should, and excellent fine hand-​embroidery. This would normally cost me $ 400 elsewhere, I got it for $ 125 = astounding. It’ll last me years, superb weave, superb quality, superb craftsmanship. Genuine Cashmere from Kashmir.
Go. You’ll find something.
