This is a small store with a fairly small selection of games. If you’re looking for something well known, they’ve probably got it, but don’t expect any hidden treasures. It’s fine if you don’t want to fight the traffic in Toronto, but otherwise, there are much better options in the city.

Im really excited to have such store a block away from my place! They have a great collection of MTG cards. No need to travel anymore. The gentleman @ the store was really helpful. I recommend this store to anyone. BTW they sell plenty of interesting board games. It looks small from the outside, but don’t let this influence you. You won’t regret it.

Great store with great price(DT stores priced the game I bought around $ 32, I got it here for $ 34, amazon is selling at $ 49). I was looking for a game that is out of stock in majority of the stores(both online and stores). Since Kaiju stays open till 9pm, i was able to call them around 8:50pm and confirmed they do have a copy of that game. Go the next day, pick it up and drive home happily. It would be 5 stars if fans can check the prices online, I would prefer not calling if I don’t have to.

Really happy they had special holiday hours for Christmas shopping. Okay, first off a great selection of more advanced board games. Bright store and not crowded with racks that make it difficult to maneuver around like so many game stores. Service — super friendly and helpful. Guided me to quite a few options and gave me detailed critique as to why certain games were fun or how they played. Price points were well within line of other stores(and I may be imagining it but they felt like they had better pricing). Will definitely be going back.

I ventured to Kaiju Games this weekend to look for a gift for a boardgame-loving brother, having discovered it when searching for game stores outside of the downtown area. Pretty convenient location in a small plaza. The store is a little on the small side, with most of the games stacked on spartan shelves along one wall. Don’t let the size foll you though. They have a great collection of games; it leaned more heavily towards Euro-style games, but I was tickled by the 20+ versions of Monopoly they had in stock. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving recommendations and tips when I asked but left me alone to peruse at my leisure. I ended buying 2 small games for my brother(10% off as a Black Friday deal), and a long list of games that caught my eye. I’d definitely be back again, probably quite soon, to add to my own collection!

Finally, something in the west end! Kaiju Games brings board games, card games and sports cards into a west end which lacked this kind of entertainment! Really convenient location and the customer service is superb on my first visit on their opening day. Being a board game pseudo-fanatic, I’d highly recommend this location(even if you want to venture downtown)! Especially since there is now an event night, those that want to try games but don’t want to invest in the games can have a great time. :)
