Mom ‘n’ pop computer shop by Kensington. Walked in here one morning to get a computer built, NBD. I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing and the turnaround was quick; the unit was ready to go later that afternoon. I also discovered their labour and repair rates are extremely reasonable. It would be nice if they offered a larger selection of peripherals, but it’s not worth complaining about given the quality service and low prices. Obligatory Title Pun: MIN-imize costs and MAX-imize your computer! Menu Readability:(Cue Anakin) NOOOOOOOO! Need to mention: Pay with cash or debit for a discount. What this place teaches me about myself: Hey, I should write slogans for computer stores.

Everyone has their«guy,» or «gal» who is their fix-it person for computer problems. I will honestly admit that I know very little about anything that relates to computers and how they work. I plead ignorance! So, from my fix-it guy I got a great word-of-mouth referral to Inmax for my computer parts and products needs. Inmax is a tiny store right on the doorstep to College street near Kensington market. Look carefully or you might miss it as you pass by! Inside, Inmax is a neat store filled with just about anything you might need from computer parts to funky mouses for your PC. Those who work in the IT or computer business buy all their stuff at Inmax(so I’ve heard) and are never disappointed with the product or service. As a basic computer-user customer, I like Inmax because the staff is very friendly and know what they’re talking about. Best of all, you don’t feel like you’re being taken for a ride, especially when you know nothing. The staff at Inmax explain things well and you really feel like you’re being helped out, and what else matters in customer service, right? At Inmax you can buy computer gadgets, printers, usb keys of different kinds, back-up systems, and just about anything relating to computing. I definitely recommend Inmax to anyone who needs computer help!
