Had lunch a bit early(11am) and they had only a few of the dishes out. However the dishes they did have were very tasty. By no means authentic Thai but the price is ok and the vegis are very fresh.

I just love the royal pad thai, cuz i alwayz loved sour padthais. im a crazy padthai lover, i’ve had spring roll padthai, thai express padthai and thai bowl padthai. thai express is very addictive! but different locations serves different qualities. hwoever it’s really fatening, so i started eating at thai bowl. u can get the 3.35(include tax) small padthai if you want a healthy, weight losing diet for lunch, it is sour though, but like i said i love sour padthais, so it really depends.

This is a food court stall, so expectations have to be a little lowered. I just so happen to go here often as it’s located close to the building where I work. I also expect not many people to be searching for this place for reviews on Unilocal,so there’s a 99% chance nobody’s going to be reading this. Oh well, such is life. I’ve had the«privilege»(stop laughing) of trying many of their food selections. So here’s my two cents on what’s good and what’s not: –Their Thai Bowl Chicken is by far the best item on their menu. It’s sweet, crispy, and tasty –Their various noodle bowls are very good too, tasty and warm, hits just the right spot –Their Royal Pad Thai(I snickered at the name too) is awful. It’s basically noodles plus ketchup plus some vegetables all stir-fried together. It’s the sourest Pad Thai I’ve ever had. The service is surprisingly good. I usually go after the lunch rush is over so the owner often takes time to talk to me a little bit. He’s a very pleasant man and pretty cool to talk to. They also have a stamp card which, if you get 10 stamps, you get one meal free. The sucky thing? You have to ASK for it. They never offer you the card. Overall, it’s a pretty OK place, and the price isn’t cheap for a food court(7 – 8 dollars-ish) but it’s reasonable for a downtown food court stall.

thai bowl located in the underground food court at the north-east corner of university and wellington. it is a lot more like chinese /vietnamese food and not thai… as far as i know anyway. for example: they have lemon chicken, general tao chicken and a wide selection of phở style soups. instead of jasmine rice they have fried rice… despite the name being slightly confusing, this place is quite reasonably priced and the food is good. they have a different special every day which keeps it interesting if you work in this area. and the wide array and variety of foods can fix most any craving: soup, noodles, rice, fried, spicy, sweet etc… okay they won’t be able to help you if you’re craving cake, pizza or a sandwich… but they do have fortune cookies!

A cheap Thai eat place. They serve noodle bowl, which I believe is phở. And I got the red chicken curry of course. I found it a little spicy, quality was as expected of a food court.
