Love this place, hard to find really good coffee but there’s always tastes amazing and consistent. The treats they sell are awesome too.

Ideal Coffee, a spin-off to the one in Kensington, is set up in a shipping container alongside the others as part of Market 707, more of a social experiment gone viral than a marketer’s dream. Regardless, here we have real coffees right by Alexandra Park Pool, where swimming is free and sometimes goes until midnight. No need to walk further and get sub par coffee at Tim Hortons, or McDonalds. And you can get some freshly made dim sum in the next container over. Sit on the sidewalk patio where there are rudimentary chairs and tables set up, or get your bicycle fixed by the bike guy operating out of another container, or walk to the nearby shade trees of Ryerson Public School and sit at the picnic tables. All of this grew out of Scadding Court Community Center, one of the most active centers of its kind anywhere. Ideal Coffee is the perfect candidate to compliment the spirit of 707, rather than dominate. Well done, Scadding planners!
