Not much more to say other then this store in great and a big walk down memory lane. For the most part everything is of great value. Repeat customer for years.

The new Queen West location has only solidified my love for this place. Admittedly, I’m biased because I was the first customer at the new location, but be that as it may, I refuse to buy games anywhere else in Toronto but here. They’re always so friendly, the prices are great, they’re willing to haggle with you on trade ins and retro buys, and now, with the new location, they have an awesome lounge in the making, too.

Dam! This place is awsome but the area it’s located in is reallu sketchy an uncomfortable to walk around in! Their customer support is really friendly too! They are really attentive. The prices here are really high though so you better research what games you want before hand so you know if it’s actually going to be worth it!

I stumbled across this store while shopping in the area for gifts for a friends birthday. I stopped with a group of friends to check out the game store. When i went in I noticed that they had a very large selection of games. And they also carried retro games or just older games that big box stores don’t sell anymore. For example final fantasy games the one i have been looking for«x and x-2». Not only do they sell older games but they do also sell newer released games. they sell the games at decent not the best but decent prices as well. if ur ever in the area u should just go in and visit.

Iceman Video Games is one of the few spots we have in the city for retro games. Their selection is quite nice, with many display cases filled with cartridges. Unlike A&C Games, or especially Gamerama, you can easily see every game, neatly displayed. Prices are not that great, and you’re paying something akin to a 20−30% markup from what you could find online. Taking into consideration the ease of walking in and buying a game, versus hunting for it online and possibly paying shipping and /or duty on it, the mark stings slightly less. A simple matter of convenience vs frugality. I’ve never seen the staff on hand really address, or great customers, unless bothered to do so. I don’t so much mind being left to myself to browse their selection, but it’s something I make a note of in my head when shopping around. Along with the video games, there are numerous graphic t-shirts outfront, hats, classic controllers with USB plugs, and other gaming memorabilia. There’s definitely a great selection of collectables here to occupy a gamer for more than a few minutes. Overall, it’s nice to have Iceman Video Games in the city, where retro gaming places are few and far between. They fall short of pricing compared to Game Centre and selection, compared to A&C, but they’re somewhere in between. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Kensington.
