This place is just okay, nothing special. Their most popular drinks are from their potting cake series which are milk tea drinks with whip cream and little Oreo bits and a leaf to make it look like a plant. We came here because it’s not as busy as other bbt places. I ordered just the reg. Milk tea, half sugar no ice. It tastes like just any other regular milk tea out there. Their tapicoa though is not as soft as I’d like. They accept debit but will charge you .10 cents if the total is $ 10 or less. Best to bring cash!

Nice little bbt place near yonge and Sheppard. It was a cute little mascot outsidr of the cafr and looked fairly new so my friends and I kinda just wandered in. We took a seat and looked at the menu and they sure had some unique flavors of bbt! Potted milk tea, tiramisu, etc. The place is tiny but has a nice environment to just chill and tall with your friends. Prices are typical(~$ 5 for drinks). I was tempted to buy their snacks but they seemed kind of mediocre and expensive. And I assumed the portions would be small too… It’s like $ 5 for a small box of fries?! No thanks! I’d come again if I happen to be walking by and craving bbt(ONLYIF the place is right in front of me at that moment aha).

Came here after work, ordered the number 1 potting plant milk tea! Very aesthetically pretty, prompt service, but the drink itself wouldn’t get me running here craving for it. The drink was 5.18 for a regular, great flavour but lacked an oomph factor. Overall i had a pleasant experience ! Would recommend to Instagram junkies, they wont be disappointed haha.

Walked pass here with my friend and he was attracted to the mascot, so we went inside. There was a BOGO promotion for 5 – 6 of their drinks. I got the red bean milk tea with pudding. The Milk tea was decent, but with so many similar bubble tea options around, the BOGO promotion would be the only reason I would come back. Also, they give out buy one get another drink for 50% off coupons if you ask nicely.

They still have the two for one deal to compete with its cousins in the area. The drinks are slightly different from others but given the competition within a small radius, it will be fierce. The place is small but had enough tables if you decide the relax at the establishment. There are many girls behind the counter but most of them were busy on their phones. The food was average so stick with the drinks. Service could be slow at times especially the kitchen. Super convenient on Yonge Street but there are other BBT shops north and south of this one. The 2 for 1 deal keeps me coming but not sure if I would return once the promo ends. They use Vicinity Rewards platform for loyalty which is used by its competitors.

The mascot was so irresistible I had to come in to try the bubble tea. Got the strawberry flavor cause it seemed like the best one from the buy one get one free menu. It was really good. The jelly was a nice touch.

Nice, bright and yellow with a mascot that looks like a cross of bomber man and Pucca s boyfriend. I’m sure the drinks here are good, seeing they have so many global stores. We only bought the fries for $ 4 and unfortunately the portion was very small. Like the small size from mc ds. They weren’t extremely special, the flavour was spicy ketchup on the side. Hoping the other food have bigger portions.

Lots of bubble tea places in the area. This one is still slow out of the gate and it’s not getting faster. I’ve been here twice at night. The drinks were good. That’s about the only thing going for them. We’ve been going only to get the 2 for one deal. The place is slow, uncoordinated and food is pricey. Both times, drinks were very slow to be produced. First time, I put it down to them being new. But the 2nd time with at least 4 people working the drinks area and another guy in the back cooking, I don’t think they have an excuse. Chatime and Sweet O’clock is considerably faster with fewer workers. These guys are uncoordinated. I see a couple of guys in their livery that aren’t doing much. Maybe they are on standby for deliveries? Also, I don’t think the owner was there. And no one seems to be giving directions so no one is really managing the place. You see some of the workers kind of milling around not doing much. Tables were not cleaned. Food and drinks came out individually when they were ready which was so taking so long. Twice they called us to go over and pick up. They delivered once to our table. I find the customer flow bad. Food portions are small. They seem to come only in kids size and not worth the price. Are you suppose to clean up yourself like McDonald’s? If so, the garbage can are ill-designed for this with small openings. Or maybe you suppose to take it upfront? But they don’t seem to have allocated space for that? Maybe you just leave it there? But no one seems to come out to even give the tables a quick wipe. We just stuff everything in a garbage can and left the empty tray on the counter. Their location is not that great, being pretty far from the Yonge and Finch epicenter and on the quiet side of Yonge. Most of the restaurants are on the other side of the street. So if you want a drink, why would you bother crossing the street when there are so many other places nearby? You can risk jay-walking or waiting for the slow pedestrian traffic lights. It’s about the same size as Sweet O’clock with a layout that’s similar. Kitchen is in one corner with a L-shape area for customers. Free Wi-Fi. Workers are okay. They know what they are doing in terms of drinks but are really slow. Most of them look like they are in high-school. Yes, other places are like that. But at this place they need a leader to take charge.

From the entrance of I-Migo, I can see at least 5 other tea shops, most of which are Asian franchises opening their first Toronto locations. I-Migo is yet another new one to enter the Toronto market. They had a grand opening sale banner advertising their current BOGO milk tea promotion, so on this day, I had to choose I-Migo over its nearby competitors. Unfortunately, the drink selection for the BOGO promotion was quite limited, and did not include their most popular drinks(they have a top 10 list to help you order, just like every other BBT place). I opted to get a drink not included in their promotion, the tiramasu milk tea. It seemed really intriguing and it was #3 on their top 10 list. Waiting times were pretty standard for a tea shop. Upon first sip, the drink simply tasted like chocolate flavoured milk tea. It turns out that the only part of the drink that tastes like tiramasu is the whipped portion on the top. While this part was very good, I figured it out too late to be able to mix the two together. Oh well. Another item that intrigued me was the potted milk tea. It looked … like… a pot, with soil, and a plant growing out of it. Weird. It was their #1 drink though, so I had to about it. Turns out that the«soil» was made up of bits of Oreo, and the«plant» was a mint leaf. Still weird. Whatever. I didn’t end up trying it, but I kinda wish I did. I-Migo actually had quite a few drink series that differed from the typical milk teas. Quite an interesting place. It’s nowhere near me so I doubt I’ll ever get to try everything I wanted to try, but I hope this encourages someone else to. Warning: Cash only. TL;DR: Stir your drink!
