I Barbieri

I’ll be making my 4^th consecutive visit to i Barberi this afternoon. The reviews on this place are all correct. The quality of service along with Ando’s passion for his craft is incomparable in this city. The unassuming yet stylishly comfortable environment sets the framework for a great experience each and every time I visit. On most occasions, I’m greeted by name and offered a beverage (coffee, espresso) while I wait for Ando. I never wait more than 10 minutes (this is with an pre booked appointment). Ando is an intelligent person which makes for some great conversations during the sitting too.
The thing that impresses me the most is Ando’s intentional desire to know his customers. He takes notes both about your style and your story. Each time is like a continuation of a long conversation.
The only «downfall» of iBarbieri is it’s popularity. Make sure you book your appointments weeks an advance or you won’t be sitting in Ando’s chair very often.

Got my heircut there today. Ando is very intelegent person, it was very interesting to tolk to him and he did absolutly fantastic job. Very professiaonal. I highly recomend this place. Thank you.

After 4 years of bad haircuts from franchised haircut stores (ex. First Choice and GreatClips) I finally decided it was time to find myself a Barber. I decided to go to I Barbieri after reading such great reviews. I didn’t make an appointment and showed up 30 mins before closing and was greeted with a firm handshake. I told Ando the haircut I wanted but my hair wasn’t long enough in some parts due to a previous bad cut. He cut my hair great in the original style I wanted when I got the bad haircut and I will definitely be back once my hair grows for the style I wanted. We had a pleasant conversation and he tailored my haircut to fit my hair type and cut my hair to my exact requests. Only thing I was disappointed in was not getting a complementary espresso after expecting it from reading the reviews but I’m not complaining as I showed up 30 mins before closing without an appointment. Will definitely return again as Ando is now my favorite Barber.

I’m a regular at I Barbieri and have been going there since several months after they opened and I’m not going to any barbershop round. The shop is clean and comfortable if you have to wait. I even brought my two westies there at one time and Ando is super cool with them, not to mention the service is unparalleled.
There’s no first time at I Barbieri, because you’ll surely come back.

I moved to the area last year, and after getting a few lousy haircuts, I looked on BlogTo in search of a reputable salon/​barber shop in my area. Little did I know, I Barbieri was right under my nose, and upon my first visit, I couldn’t be more surprised.
From the first time I met Ando, to say he was welcoming and inviting would serve as a huge understatement. Ando had no idea who I was, but he treated me like he’s known me for years. Like many others have posted, he offers you a free espresso, and sometimes he has tea brewing as well. The most important aspect however is how much he cares for you. He isn’t in it for the money– when you’re in his chair, he gives you his absolute undivided attention, and he actually EXPLAINS to you things about your hair that you would never have thought to think about before, such as your personal hair growth pattern. For the duration of the time that you are in his chair, he puts forth his utmost genuine effort into perfecting your needs, complimented with great conversation (he’s a wise man). His skills are impeccable, and his appointment slots are 30 minutes because he takes his time! He doesn’t rush you out the door; rather, he takes a personal investment in each one of his clients.
If you’re looking to get genuine service, learn about what hair style works for you, and get the experience you deserve, then stop by I Barbieri– you won’t regret it.

I highly recommend this barber shop. The service was excellent. Ando really knows what he is doing and the gentlemen knew all their customers by name. I went for a cut (a fade to be exact) but I was also enticed by the shave, which is something I haven’t had done before. I will definitely be growing my beard out more often just so I can indulge in a shave more often! This is my new barber shop. Great work guys!

Amazing experience at i barbieri! I found them through blogto and was extremely happy I went today. Reservation was simple right from their website. I was greeted by Ando with a warm smile and handshake and offered tea. Stephen cut my hair and did an awesome job! Very happy with the cut and for 20 bucks it was a great haircut. I highly recommend this place. Has plenty of free parking and a warm atmosphere. Thanks gentlemen! I will be back for my next cut!

The total attention to detail, comfortable environment, and general professionalism guarantee that I’ll be back. I’ve been searching for a proper barber (and one that does an amazing straight-​razor shave as well!) for a long time, and I finally found one.
Ando took his time getting my crazy overgrown mop tamed down and looking good, and really never made me feel rushed, even though he was running behind and had a couple more appointments waiting in the wings.
Ando, thanks a million, and I look forward to seeing you again in a few weeks.

I travel to Canada from Italy every other month and I usually like to go to my usual barber in Italy.
However I had missed my last appointment before leaving and during my trip my beard consciousnesses grew more and more until I decided I was gonna take the risk and fo to a local barber.
After researching the internet, I chose I Barbieri. Unfortunately I had to go there without an appointment and I saw there were lots of people waiting and more coming in with an appointment.
This is the kind of neighborhood where people do not like to spend money if they don’t get value for it so it was promising.
VERY good barber and nice attitude ! He did not have to work too much on my hair but the barber treatment was good and the result more than satisfactory.
I think it will become a fixed pamper every time I am in Toronto

Great place and friendly service. You’re offered a handshake and expresso as soon as you walk in the door. $ 20 gets you a detailed haircut and friendly service.

I walk in with my wife, they offer us water & coffee. Ask us how we’re doing, confirm my reservation. Incredibly cordial.
Ando then spent a lot of detail & attention towards cutting my hair, and ensuring that I get the style I wanted. He had a vision at first and went with it, and I asked for a couple of adjustments, which he performed very well.
Even though this place is further from me than I’d like, I’d definitely come back and refer anyone else to Ando.

I had been a regular of Anthony’s previously years before he opened the shop. I lost contact and was unable to track him down and so glad i eventually did. I visited the shop 2 weeks ago and got the best shave and cut that i have had since losing contact.
Ever since losing contact with Anthony I was so unimpressed with the cuts and shaves that i was getting from both local barbers and salons and would change stylists constantly.
Anthony makes you feel welcome and so does his co-​barber Steve, offers of complimentary Espresso and gives you his 100% attention when you are sat in the chair. Extremely happy with my cut and shave

I noticed that there were 7 reviews that are not currently recommended by Unilocal (for whatever reason) so I decided to make one myself. hopefully a guy who has over 80 Unilocal reviews can add credibility to the positive things that has been said about this place.
I had the pleasure of visiting Ando last Saturday and got the haircut and the shave I wanted. I’ve tried a lot of salons and barbers in the past, and it has always been hit and miss for me so I decided to give him a try by driving all the way from mississauga. I just pulled up a picture of the haircut I wanted and he got it right. he asks questions (which i like) as he wants to make sure i get the cut i want.
the place and tools were clean. the complimentary espresso was helpful as it was really early.
I RARELY give 5 stars (only 5 out of 89 reviews). but this place deserves it.
I like my haircut, but more importantly, the wife likes it too. bringing you a surprise on my next visit.
