I had a groupon for this place for a hot stone massage and wasn’t massaged by a registered RMT. On top, I just got hot towels on my back no stones at all. She didn’t even tell me her name or greet me when I got there. It was absolutely the worst!!! Also the door is permanently locked? You have to be buzzed in? DONOTGOHERE I’m pretty upset about this experience especially because I’m not a stranger to massage. Within 10 minutes of leaving I had really weird marks on my back that look kind of like hickies? Broken blood vessels?(I’ve had mild bruising before but I’m aware of my body and where I need the most pressure) but for the most part of the massage I was actually bracing myself against the bed and asking her to let up. I should really post a picture but I can’t get my arm all the way around

Lola is a RMT and she is professional. However, I bought a 10 massage package and most of the time, I end up being massaged by non-RMTs. They are not trained to massage and usually quite rude. Sometimes I would end up feeling more tense after the massage than before. Some of the girls that massaged me were very uneven and one side would be a lot more painful than the other. Depending on who you get, the massage can be very painful. I took my mom here for a massage and my mom complained it was too hard and asked the masseuse to reduce the pressure. She said no because she«wasn’t using any pressure.»

Why the heck is this place still open? Should be closed down for good! I visited this place 2 months ago, when I purchased a groupon for facial and massage. What a horrible experience. Not only did the lady make me wait for an additional 30 minutes, but she left the door open the entire time! NOTPROFESSIONAL at all… especially if I’m naked under a sheet of blanket! She was also talking to me the entire time. I came here for a massage, not to have a conversation with you. Please stop talking when someone is trying to relax after a stressful day, because most likely they’re not interested talking to you. Let’s talk about the facial… the lady was microwaving her food while I’m lying down with mud on my face. Just because my eyes are closed doesn’t mean I don’t know what you’re doing. I can smell the food(door) and hear you chewing like a cow. It’s very unpleasant. Please be a little professional!!! Don’t demand a tip when the service is like crap. It just makes my blood boil when I’m reminded of this awful experience. Everyone, stay far away… you’ve all been warned!

I have been to this location twice or thrice some years ago. I was recommended by my mother-in-law to see an Registered Massage Therapist named Lola for the kinks in the neck and aches in the back. Last week, I called and spoke directly to Lola. I was happy she was still working there. I scheduled an appointment for an hour massage on Monday after work to which she had an available spot at 5PM. It is $ 75 for the hour long massage. On Monday, I arrive 4:40PM, 20 minutes before my appointment. You have to ring the doorbell and they will answer the door and unlock it for you. Lola greeted me and let me know that she would take me earlier as it was not busy. Knowing a familiar face is a good feeling. She led me to the room to get changed and there was a bed I could lie face down into. This has a hole to breathe of course! The deep tissue, pressure point massage began at around 4:45PM or 4:50PM. Lola is very strong and gives therapy to your aching joints with ultimate force. My neck was absolutely horrible. She pressed it and it hurt, which it shouldn’t. That was only the beginning. Yes, the whole experience was pretty painful but that is what I prefer to knead out the knots in my neck and back. It was awesome. Lola always asks if it is too much pressure to make sure you are having a good experience. During the massage there was conversation but it was at a minimum so I could relax and take it all in. Most definitely I am returning back to RMT Lola in the future if I require massage therapy. I was a happy customer and more than satisfied with her services. She said I can come back anytime to see her. Great!

My fiancé and I have been here twice now. We bought a group deal for 60 minute RMT massages, but realized after we booked the appointment that it wasn’t valid yet. The owner offered to give us the same price so we kept the appointments(she gets a star for this). The First Experience We filled out short medical forms and entered individual rooms. I had the owner, who is an RMT. She was nice and the massage was decent. My only real complaint was that directly under my headrest was a chunk of hair that I had to stare at the whole time, which made me question the cleanliness. My fiancé’s therapist told him that she was not an RMT. She gave a basic relaxation massage, which was okay but not what he wanted(we both wanted therapeutic treatments). We were then given RMT receipts under the owner’s name for both of us. The Second Experience When we arrived, we were immediately told that the room was ready. When went back to a double room… that they were still preparing. We stood there awkwardly, trying not to be in the way, as they fixed up the room. It was kind of a mess but okay… no one took our medical information or asked us what we wanted(or didn’t want). They only had my fiancé’s first name, so there’s no way they could have pulled up our previous forms. The masseuses were clearly not RMTs. Mine spent about 10 minutes just running her hands up and down my spine. My fiancé was happier with his massage. Neither of us were asked to flip over for the shoulders, neck, or front of legs. We once again were given receipts with the owner’s name on them, even though she didn’t massage either of us. They also kept trying to sell us facials(which I may have gotten if I had enjoyed my massage more, but I didn’t trust them at that point). If you are looking for a relaxation massage then this place has good deals, but if you are looking for a real RMT massage then I suggest going elsewhere.

Got this on a groupon so we decided what they heck. It is RMT so if you have health insurance it should be(at least in part) covered. We were pleasantly surprised as the very friendly service as most other RMT locations seem to have an attitude for some reason. They even had a room for the two of us to get massaged together which was a nice bonus for us. Everyone was very friendly and the place seemed relatively clean. It was not all done up to look pretty, there are lots of medical equipment everywhere but their techniques drain away any cares, then they make you cry when they hit that spot on your muscles that will take days to recover but that is what real massage is about. Right? Just kidding, they can do soft or hard massage depending on what you want or need.
