I went to Express with a group of friends and received the most ridiculous customer service ever. A friend of mine wanted to try on a top, when the manager noticed the top was incorrectly ticketed. The top my friend wanted to try on, had a discounted sticker while the others were at full price. The manager, Charlene, explained this to my friend and mentioned she would have to pay the full price, while peeling the discounted sticker off of the tag! In MOST respectful retail stores, when an issue like that arises, it is clearly the stores fault and the discount price is honoured. Sadly at this location of Express, that is not the case. My friend was extremely upset and walked out of the store highly irritated. I told her I would go back and ask for the managers name so something could be done about the issue. Not wanting to make the problem TOO obvious, I decided to ask another co-worker instead. When I asked her what the managers name was, she responded, ‘I can’t give you her name.’ ‘She’s right there, you ask her’. I don’t understand why a company would teach their employees to behave this way. It’s extremely unacceptable. Maybe if the Express staff were wearing name tags, I wouldn’t have to deal with this issue! I had to call two different locations to track down the managers name!

Not a fan of their clothing or prices. You can find higher quality clothes for affordable prices somewhere else. The staff didn’t seem too friendly and seemed extremely persistent on making the sale and up-selling with their credit card. Never going back here again.

The manager here was helpful and when they didn’t have the size we needed he went into the back to find one for us. One of the girls here working was very unhelpful. It looked like she was near the end or her shift but she was still working and even came back afterwards. We asked her if they had a small for a belt we wanted. She responded whatever we have there is it. We were about to drive to mark Ville to find the size we needed when the manager went to the back to get us one. The girl working here almost made us run across the city.

This is my favourite Express store. I’m on here more then I should be. I’ve only ever encountered one not so friendly staff but I don’t think she works there anymore. The stuff is normally extremely helpful. I like the layout of this location. Everything is easy to find. I love everything I have ever purchased from express.

I like the express here compared to others such as eatons, less packed with customers an more room for me to look around; they have the same clothing lineup so yea! This is the best location if you’re shopping by yourself :)

After a long hiatus from Unilocaling, I am BACK with tons of great reviews to share! One of my greatest shopping pleasures I have experienced in the last couple of months was the opening of EXPRESS — one of my FAVOURITE clothing and accessories stores from our great neighbours just south of our border. Express opened in Fairview Mall and after it opened, I immediately flocked to the store to check out its new Canadian digs and the fashions inside. Express is a wonderful store, with clothing for both women and men that are always on top of the latest trends, as well as providing those classic staples that we all need for work, for play, for dates and for casual activities. On top of their selection, the pricing is not bad at all and they tend to offer all the sales that they offer in their American locations, both in-store and online. As for my fashion FAVES in this store, here are some things that I purchased lately that I absolutely recommend to all of you ladies out there… The EDITOR&COLUMNIST dress pants — Both of these styles are wonderful! They are dressy enough for work but do not make you look super conservative or stuffy. The EDITOR pants are a bit flare and compliment all of my heels, flats and boots in my wardrobe. The COLUMNIST pants are a bit more of a straight-legged cut and are super flattering in keeping me looking slim while remaining comfortable. Express usually offers both types of pants in black, dark grey, light grey, textured fabrics and more! The pants are $ 80 a piece, HOWEVER they always have sales. Plus, after constant wears, my pants are in great quality The SWEATERS — Express’ sweaters are absolutely adorable and great for both work and play! Their colour palette is HUGE, with a nice variety of colours and styles to choose from as you shop. They have a range from your classic V-neck sweater to your sexy low-cut draped knit to your fancy soft garment with lace and sparkles for a dressy occasion. The sweater prices range from $ 30 to $ 60, so it works for people with different budgets and price points. The ACCESSORIES — For the winter time, I have stocked up on some of Express’ amazing scarves, hats and gloves! Last week, they had a 40% off sale for everything in the store. With such an amazing sale in place, I bought my grey sparkly infinity scarf for $ 30, which is HUGE, cozy and dresses up my coats while keeping my neck warm. I bought their funky long fingerless leather sweater gloves for $ 35.00, which are super trendy and fun! Overall, this store is amazing. It always has so much offer, combines classic pieces with trends and usually has amazing sales going on!
