As a knitter and now a sewer, this store is like a candy shop. They have so many different types of yarn and very nice (mainly cotton) fabric. The notions section of the store isn’t huge, but if you’re in a bind (pun intended) they will generally have what you’re looking for, albeit on the expensive side. I believe that after they moved to the new space on Bloor, the owner expanded the fabric section of the store.
The owner is really friendly and has helped me pick out yarn for different projects that I’ve started, and they carry a very well curated selection of knitting and sewing books/​patterns.
I’ve yet to take a class here, so can’t comment on that, but I guarantee if you come in here you will easily leave with $ 50 worth of yarn and/​or fabric, which isn’t a bad thing at all.
