Dr. Leung is definitely the best optometrist I have been to. I’ve had several concerns with my eyes over the years and every time I see him he does a full examination, and either provides appropriate treatment or refers to specialists for further assessment. He also takes the time to explain his findings, which I find to be so important, as I want to know what’s going on with my eyes — he doesn’t just rush me out. He has excellent ‘bedside’ manner and is a pleasure to meet with. Definitely recommend.

I visited this clinic several times when I was at uoft. but when i tried to book an appointment this time, they told me, it’s $ 125 to get an eye exam with prescription for contact lences. Definately toooooo much! So I asked to get my record so that I can go see other doc with my history, they told me $ 50 for the record… don’t know what to say…

I heard good things about Dr. Leung from a friend who hates optometrists, and it’s probably not fair of me to write a review considering I’ve never been a patient of his. However, when I called to ask about the price of an eye exam I was quoted $ 90 but then told that a prescription for contacts would be an additional $ 30, and that if the prescription was for astigmatism it would be a $ 50 surcharge. $ 90 is already high enough, but if the point of getting an eye exam is to get a new prescription, there’s no way I’m going to pay another $ 50 just because I have astigmatism. Again, not a comment on the professionalism or capabilities of Dr. Leung, just frustration with the business model.
