This place is awful, dirty, they have kids running the day care I walked in one day and found this little 12 year old blonde girl screaming a the kids, the other day care person was upstairs with other kids. The man running the place thinks only Blonde hair blue eyed girls should be dancing because they look the best.(not sure of the meaning of this) and he is just so rude to people, everyone’s business if open for everyone to see including these 2 kids whom told me they work there.(Hope and I think Sharon or Sandy) not sure of the name they are on the computer looking at everyone’s information. he is alway taking pictures and videos but I don’t know if he has permissoin from parents, I told the other person who works there that I don’t want him to take pictures of my daughter I don’t know what he is doing with them. I will not use this day care again take my advice and stay away

The Good — the instructors are very nice, and the instruction was pretty much what we wanted for our child which is to say a positive introduction to the basics of movement to music at a young age. There were lots of classes to choose from and there is also a lot of flexibility in how you can enrol your child in various styles of dance. The cost of the actual lessons was in line with other facilities and our budget. The Bad — Before you book your child here please read this: 1. The recital is not a free event. It takes place at the Markham Theatre(no where near where we signed up for lessons) and tickets for anyone that wants to attend are $ 20 per person, so just to attend the recital with grandparents, parents and one other was $ 140. The costume for the recital was roughly $ 90 so it cost our family an additional $ 230 for just this one event — almost the same cost as several months of classes. 2. The owner of the company, at the dress rehearsal, on the day of the recital erased any positive experience we had with Dance Kids Canada. Publicly berating her staff in front of children and parents, changing dance routines that had been worked on for months(for 5 – 7 year old children), and telling children that if they didn’t do specific things in the dance routine that day, that the dance would be ruined. Ashley our instructor was great and her interaction with our child warrants a much more favourable review, however the business does not deserve the praise.
