Crystal Clear Vision

I underwent LASIK at Crystal Clear Vision about a month and a half ago, after shopping around quite extensively. This was the only clinic that felt like an actual clinic, instead of a mill with a high volume of clients and inattentive staff. At CCV, all the staff called me by my name and made sure that everything was as pleasant as possible. Unlike other places, they only ask you once for allergies and medical history — elsewhere, I had to repeat the same things over and over to every different staff member I saw. Dr Machat himself was also extremely kind and friendly, and is quite the expert in the world of laser-​corrected vision. He wanted to be sure that I understood the procedure and I could ask any questions I wanted, either in person to him or to staff members.
Prior to my surgery, I had a prescription of about –6, meaning I couldn’t have read a book without contacts or glasses. Now, I can see better than the average person at ²⁰⁄₁₅. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience!

I work in the Optometry industry, and I know Dr. Machat is one of the best surgeon in the world in laser eye correction.
I am very intrigued by his phenomenal custom LASIK technology called the AMARIS — it is extremely FAST and ACCURATE and it is the only laser system in the world that has 6 dimensional eye tracker, tracking every eye moment during laser correction. Therefore, I put my trust in Dr. Machat and completed my LASIK surgery last Friday :) On my way to recovery, I would like to take this time to express my gratitude to Dr. Machat, Dr. Black and the professional and knowledgeable team behind Crystal Clear Vision.
I would like to thank all the doctors and staff along the way who made my experience at Crystal Clear Vision an incredible one. You all have made me feel very comfortable and very welcome. I was a nervous little one but now that I’ve done LASIK, I am very happy with the results!
