I used to frequent this place as a child to buy all my comics, toys and games. I believe it was called Shining Knight, back in the day and I wasn’t a big fan of the name change, which happened years ago. I also used to have a membership here which helped with discounts on new comics and you always got free bags and boards with your books! Rob the owner is a nice guy and he’s always willing to find you the products you are looking for. He used to stock a fair bit of toys and older comic book back issues that other stores did not have. The prices here are very good considering the size of the store and Rob doesn’t really jack up the prices of rare variant covers for books or special toys. Probably the best comic shop on the East end of Toronto, Comics & More offers a great selection of stock along with friendly service. If I was still around the area, this comic shop would be my go to place for weekly comics and toys. I’ll make sure to drop by next time I am in the area. Also to note, Rob does a lot of work around the community with comic days and school children(has been doing it for years). It’s great to see this happen with such a smaller comic shop in town.

About half of the store is comics and the other half«more». The more consists of CCGs, figurines, books, and toys. The staff were friendly asking if I needed any help. I just wanted to have a look to see what these guys were all about as I was killing some time and just happened to be walking by. Overall I was pretty impressed at the selection for such a small store.

This store has games as well! Love the fact that Rob(owner) is spreading the word that not all entertainment is electronic. The selection of board(and non board) games was quite good. Found Ticket To Ride, Agricola, and Munchkin all under one, local, roof! Will be heading back soon for expansion packs and to see what is new :)

Rob(the owner, and usually the staffperson in the store) is a saint. Not only is he incredibly friendly and easy to talk with, he spends a lot of time reaching out to the community in the form of comic days at local schools and game nights for local kids. The store itself is also everything you could want in a comic shop. Unlike a lot of stores, it’s got a great back issue selection, and Rob will always try to get things in that you can’t find(he’s gone above and beyond for me many times). As another reviewer said, Rob isn’t judgy and he isn’t elitist. Unlike some comic stores which make you feel uncomfortable if you don’t fit«the mould», Rob engenders friendliness and acceptance. Not only comics these days — the store has expanded to stock a bunch of games too, and while the price isn’t always the best, it’s hard to beat the convenience. I’ll gladly pay a little more to support Comics and More. Highest recommendations. For your comic needs, it’s hard to do better.

My favourite place to go for comics, it’s close to my house and usually very well stocked in recent issues. Not bad for recent back issues either. The owner is super nice and is always game for a good conversation.

A good place to start looking for that comic you have always been looking for. If you like comics or comic related items this is a goo place to go to or even just drop in for a browse and a chat as you are walking by.

I like a comic book store that doesn’t judge you on your Archie obsessions. In fact, the owner of this fine store engaged in a Betty vs. Veronica conversation with me, which I entirely appreciate. Thank you good sir! My obsession has been fed with your help. Truly though, this is a great comic book store. It’s organized, sells great collector-issues, larger volumes and in-the-bag comics. It also has a fair collection of cards, games and toys, but not so much that they take over the store and you want to kill yourself with the giant Hulk fist that goes CRRRRRUUUUU-SHHHHAAA! when you hit it against something. You all know what I mean.
