Decent music, the people are a shorter crowd, which I like because I’m short so I have to compete less. The place looks nice. Bouncers are cool. But they’re only open a few night a week. It’s a regualr club if you like clubs.

Checked this place out with some friends last Saturday night — had a pretty fun time. We got there really early because we heard about the free drinks for girls before 11pm on Saturdays. There’s a roped, smaller bar by the entrance where they have a bartender mixing basic drinks for free. It’s a bit hard to spot at first — most of the club is in the basement, so you have to go down a set of stairs to get it; the front is just a door with a big V on it. The venue is pretty nice — it’s not very big and there aren’t a lot of places to sit, but they have really fun laser lights. We’re on the younger side(19 – 20) and I would definitely say that this place is a little older(mid to late 20s) from chatting around the bar. There are three bars — two in the main area, and one in the back in it’s own room. That was a big plus, because we could head over there when the music was too loud and we just wanted to chat.

Great music and fun dance floor. The MC here is fun and interactive, Great shout outs! Could use more non bottle service seating — after hitting that dance floor hard, I needed a place to rest my twinkle toes. Unfortunately it had to be the cab on the way home. Overall fun place.

I’ve been to V a few times because one of my friends loves going there, I have to say I find the space cramped, not very well ventilated and it’s looking pretty shoddy/run down. If you look at some of the pics on various social media sites you can see what I am talking about. I’m not sure how much cover is because we always get comped, but as other reviews have mentioned the music is just weird. In a pinch it does the trick, I hear it has new owners now so maybe it will get better?

I came here to celebrate New Year’s. So my experience may not be representative of a regular club night. Hip hop music, house, mash up, drunk revelers. I will say most of the drunks had a good attitude. We spent our time dancing on the dance floor, ringing in the new year with a shimmy and a shake. Too many young kids for my liking.

I went here for a girl’s night out. And thats exactly what we got! Girls get free cover until 11pm! Tip: get yourself on guest list. The girl out front was nice enough to give us tickets and let us in free, but told us its usually only for guest list. Apparently you just go to their website and email your request. So when we first got there, it was half-full. Mainly with girls! The music started off more techno, but quickly switched to hip-hop. We had a couple drinks. Then, get this, they came around with appetizers! How absolutely fun and added a touch of class to the place! They were even offering free shooters! We spent most of the night on the dance floor. I had such a great time dancing, there was enough room to wiggle yourself around, but not be constantly bumping into other people. If you are looking for a fun night with the girls, and not necessarily to pick-up, then this is a cool spot. I say that, because the place was ~60−70% female filled. For a club atmosphere, I appreciated its modest size. Its more of an older-crowd vs undergrad club.

I was there celebrating a friend’s birthday plus it was also opening(TIFF) Toronto Film Festival weekend. Yorkville was a complete buzz that Saturday night. With literally no tables to be found anywhere. People were stopped on the sidewalk trying to catch glimpses of celebrities or just gawking at the many exotics cars that lined the street that evening. We had fortunately had a guest list setup at Club V after we finished up dinner at Ciao Wine Bar. Let me tell you I had a fantastic time with friends here on Sat night right from the get go There was no attitude from the hostess or security at the door. Cool vibe from the people there too. Not too packed. Music was party mix r&b pop. that will make you jump, jump, :) The MC talked into the crowd which was cool and interactive. He gave some shout outs to those celebrating their special days. . Jäger shots were pricey at $ 9 each but they were served ice cold from a special dispenser. that’s different. There’s an open air smoking patio bar that was closed off. I didn’t even know it was open to the air until I looked up and saw some exposed beams. Very trick. Also they have a shooter bar. The bartender was lighting up flames. it was a sight to see. Prices of shooters were reasonable starting at $ 4 Will be going back in the future and I hope it wasn’t just a fluke. :) I just knocked off one star on the review because a friend went to get some air and they didn’t let him back into the club? good it wasn’t him that was celebrating his birthday because that would majorly suck.

Have been here twice to see some artists perform. The club itself looks like a basement, the floor is still not finished, the décor is a bad match. They do have a smoking area available, if you enjoy harassing yourself that way. The service is ok, but in terms of the music its a weird mix I cant even explain.
