Everyone who works here is super nice. They are fast and professional and their prices are the most reasonable I’ve come across in downtown TO. If the problem is simple, they’ll fix it for next to nothing which is great for someone like me who doesn’t know a whole lot about bikes. I’ve been to other places that try to convince you the problem is more complicated than you think and then they can charge you whatever they want. I’ve been to Charlie’s about five times now and nothing even close to that has ever happened. I left there after a quick tune-​up this Saturday and I felt like I was riding on a cloud. That’s how smooth my bike is now. I went in there with what felt like a squeaky 500lb clunker of a bike and walked out with a cloud. They’re that good.

Charlie’s Bike Shop has one of the most amazing staff I have ever met in my life. They do a great job in promoting safe space and are very welcoming to new bikers like myself.
I am more thank thankful for my experience at Charlie’s. I have learned a lot about my bike and feel more comfortable riding in downtown Toronto. Thank you!

My husband and I have both had our bikes fixed here and we are thrilled with the results. Great service. Great prices. Super nice guys. None of the attitude that you get in other stores. I came in to fix a very minor repair with my bike. Not only was I helped to fix the small part in my break but they helped to realign my wheel and to readjust my brake lines, all free of charge! Very friendly, neighbourhood feel. I will be coming back to Charlie’s anytime I need something for my bike!

We got a bike delivered in parts and actually got pretty far in assembling it, however we needed someone who knew what they were doing to complete the job and have the bike road worthy, and thank goodness we went to Charlie’s. It took under half an hour, we found out the front wheel was warped, but were able to get it fixed. Great service, we didn’t have to wait a week, if I ever have any problems in future I would return. Not the best location, but don’t let that faze you, the service will make up for it :)

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Charlie’s. I’ve taken my bike here many times for service; they’re quick, cheap, and reliable. When I had my bike stolen they refurbished and turned an old beaten up bicycle into a dream bike, even with my limited budget.
