5 items in stock my ass. App and kiosk say they are there, but the peg is empty. Dump your shares now. The company is carrying phantom inventory.

Bad review for the Auto Service and Parts alone. If I could give this location of Canadian Tire zero stars that would be better. I won’t go into my experience with the auto parts and service department but let me just summarize that it was horrific and as a result I will definitely not be suggesting the Laird and Eglinton location to anyone and will instead advise people to stay as far away as humanly possible. If the service manager is reading this I’d just like to say that there is something grossly wrong with the way your staff treats people. The regular store staff that I encountered were great and one guy in particular was amazing. Sorry dude for giving your store a bad review but the service guys are just that bad.

Went to buy storage bins and found a big selection of bins, but almost none of them had lids! The ones that were there were all mixed. We asked for help and they simply said«you need to find the lids that match.» He also said there were no lids in the back. How do you sell bins with no matching lids?! Quite ridiculous. We went to Walmart.

Order system fail!!! I was looking to purchase a table and found it on the CT app on sale. Checked their inventory and it showed 14 in stock. Went to the warehouse and ordered it. The warehouse couldn’t find the product in there and called the store asking about it. In the meantime I’m standing at the door for 45 minutes for a simple transaction. Went over to the store and they have six people including two managers looking for it. How bad is the organization and inventory at this store??? Never again!!! CT, if you want to be on the cutting edge, start with fixing your inventory system or better yet, stick to being a retail store That’s one hour of my life that I’m not getting back

Don’t bring your bike here… I brought my bike here looking to get a repair. Waited at the sporting goods counter to be served as I saw the manager and staff were a little busy working out a computer issue. When addressed by the manager about weather they could fix my bike, he responded«if you didn’t buy a bike from here and/or have a receipt, we don’t fix it». Why??? I’m willing to pay them to fix my bike.

After experiencing a fire in the garden center it was closed for 6 weeks while they cleaned and repaired the loctaion. I was hoping they would take the opportunity to do a much needed renovation to the store, but alas that was not the case after reopening on Dec 1st. This store is cramped and cluttered, has narrow isles, poor customer service and little stock. I am disappointed with this location and I really like CT. Drive 5 kms east on Eglinton and shop at the Scarbourgh Center location which is totally awesome!

Very large, more like a big box store than other Canadian Tires. Very clean.

I went through the trouble of adding this Canadian Tire location as a business because I’ve been disappointed far too many times. I go to this store because it is a convenient location and they sometimes have good sales promotions. I’m aware Canadian Tire isn’t known for customer service at all. I go in fully expecting to be on my own, wandering aimlessly like a zombie in a post-nuclear war world. I’m fine with that. This location has been frustrating even with that mindset because it’s more disorganized than most CT locations, and the staff are less motivated than at other branches. I’ve been to the store on three separate occasions looking for specific items that I found on their website. Each time I went, the products were nowhere to be found, even though their website and inventory system showed the product in stock. I want to buy from them and give them business, but it’s like they’re hiding what I want. Customer service is terrible to begin with, but this store somehow sets the bar lower. If you ever want to buy a product that’s locked behind a glass door, be prepared to wait 15 minutes before tracking someone down who can open it. If someone is checking for an item in their back room, that’s another 15 minutes. I once asked an employee a question about a fan that I wanted to buy. He was walking away from me as he answered, «You can just open the box and check yourself, just don’t tell anyone I said so.» I think that sums up their attitude. I taught myself how to use their inventory system at the unmanned computer terminals around the store(imagine the old school library databases from the 80s). Before I go to the store, I check their website for product numbers and write them down. I check their inventory myself to make sure there is actual stock in the store or in other locations, then I go hunting. I gave them an extra star because of its close proximity to Home Depot.

I don’t care for this Canadian Tire. Aisles are very now and it is hard to get around.

Canadian Tire is the second worst store in Canada, next to Home Depot. There’s something about the mix of automotive, chemical cleaners and unfulfilled dreams that make it a depressing place to visit. This store is particularly depressing because it’s a dump. The aisles are so cramped, the employees are useless, the shelves aren’t stocked and products are half opened and torn. There’s 10 billion Canadian Tires in Toronto, so avoid this one. PS. I consider Home Depot worse because it sells lumber. I feel like I’m inhaling saw dust every time I enter that hole.
