The kind of place where you walk for a good tasting americano, but you end up walking out with your yummy drink + delicious lemon tart, a breakfast roll/empanada(depending on the time of day).

After spotting this place being built while walking my dog, And seeing it was gong to be selling homemade empanada’s. I was really looking forward to trying them. Well I Finally popped in this nice little café. The Café itself is a little hard to spot along the newly gentrified part of queen street east across from Moss park, near George St. but if you look closely, you’ll spot it And trust me, it’s very much worth going to. I ordered 2 chicken Empanada’s, they were large and beautiful looking, and for $ 5 a pie, it seemed quite reasonable, it took exactly one bite to realize that these were some outstanding Empanada’s! Now I’m not an empanada connoisseur by any means, as I’ve haven’t had many in my life, mainly because the only places I’ve seen them freshly made is in Kensington market. Well now I’m super happy to know that I can get these so close to home, they were absolutely delicious!!! and I can hardly wait to go back for more! In short, If you love good empanada’s then look no further, this is the place. They do close a little early, I believe 6pm so keep that in mind if you are looking to pop by, and I highly suggest you do, as you won’t be disappointed if you are looking for delicious empanada’s!
