I haven’t been to the Danforth location but went to the Bayview location for brunch recently. The food was ok/average but the service left something to be desired. There was one girl working and I think one cook and there were about 4 tables/10 customers seated at any given time. I think most servers could handle this workload but the girl seemed disinterested, not attentive and operated very casually. For example, she did not give us menus when we sat down, nor did she offer us any water or coffee. We had to wave her down anytime we needed something and noticed she was providing one other table with coffee refills but no one else. When I asked her if we could get a refill, she obliged. The whole experience felt way more awkward than it should have so for this reason I give it 2 stars. They need to step up their service else this place will die like all the other previous restaurants that couldn’t make it work at this location. After going to Bite Me on Bayview, I’m thinking this location may be cursed.
