Loved the bite size cupcakes! great for a sweet tooth craving with very little calories. If I lived in Toronto, I would definitely be a frequent customer

I love Bite Bar! I stopped by today and picked up an assorted box of 12. The girl helping me out was super friendly and took the time to explain what they sell, how they’re having a relaunch and was just super sweet and helpful. The cupcakes were delicious and perfect for me because I’m the type of person who usually takes a bite out of every cupcake/cookie and either throw out or save the rest for later(and never end up finishing). I also liked that the cupcakes weren’t too sweet and tasted fresh. I will definitely be coming back frequently :).

Cookies and cream marshmallow bar was yummy! Cupcakes were cute but so tiny. I was not a fan of the icing. Very bland.

I was really disappointed with my experience at bite bar. I went recently and ordered 3 dozen mini cupcakes. Firstly the girl at the counter was very rude. I initially ordered 2 dozen and then changed my mind to 3, and when I asked her for 3 dozen instead she just rolled her eyes at me, I was tempted to leave right there and then, which i should have. The cupcakes were packed and I placed it on the floor of my car so it was flat and wouldnt get ruined. When I got home to show my wife the cupcakes, the cupcakes had all fallen out of place, and instead of mini cupcakes, all i got was one big mess. The cupcakes were packed in a very flimsy box and the individual holes that store the cupcakes was not secure. My wife was very disappointed and upset as we had planned to take them to a dinner with us that evening. Unfortuntely we threw the cupcakes out and we were unable to serve them. When we called the shop to tell them about the incident, all they said was they would give us 10% off our next order. HA!!! Like we will ever go there again.

Unique concepts for all of the dessert lovers. Literally, the bar lives up to the name where you get bite size desserts. I ordered the cheesecake platter along with a drink and I concluded that you have to be an avid dessert eater in order to enjoy the entire platter. It is not as comfortable as other bars I’ve been to, but I feel like it’s a middle ground between a dessert café and a bar. It’s worth a try if you’re around the area.

I think this is a really cute idea, and they look cute as well, hence the expensive price tag. It’s not like I can’t afford 6 dollars, but they are just so tiny. And you would thought that they are delicious, but no! Desserts here are not delicious at all. I tried both cupcake and macaroons. Cupcakes are really bland, all u can taste is little bit sweetness and really oily butter or cream. I thought there was some problem with my palate, but my friend had one and she had the same thought. And the macaroons are just awful. I can bake better things than that. I would not come here again, and would not recommend anyone. If you have to try, go for the coconut cupcake if you do like coconut. Although it’s really bland as well, it does have more flavours than others.

Terrible. I was excited to try this place since anything bite size is expected to be adorable and nicely portioned. At first glance the menu seems to have a lot of options, but after taking a closer look at the window, there was nothing I actually wanted to eat. The smores treat was basically a rice crispie square with actually pathetic drizzle of chocolate on top. I regretted eating it. The frosting to cake ratio on the cupcakes is off. I was really disappointed.

I don’t know how this place has 4 stars in Unilocal?Seriously? Did someone steal everyone’s taste buds? The deal is a buck a bang(per cupcake) except that bang was a lot smaller than bargained. Does the taste make up for it? Unfortunately not. The icing is terribly bland; seriously is there anything except butter in that? And it is literally half of a bite. I’m guessing people here are confused because it really is too small to taste. If you don’t want to pay a dollar for a tiny bland morsel, you might as well get the full size muffin from Timmies. +1 star for cute idea +1 star for friendly service

Visited Bite Bar a few times after reading some reviews. The space was nice with a few seating, but the music was pretty Awesome — 90s hip hop and R&B! There’s no doubt their cupcakes and mini cheesecakes were cute, but be informed… They ARE tiny… hence… «Bite Bar». I’ve tried a variety of the cupcakes — they cost about a Loonie and they were slightly smaller than the size of that loonie. Flavours were good, but they were too small for that price. I tried the strawberry cheesecake and they gave me a tiny fork so it took more bites to finish it… it was just the right size since it was pretty sweet. Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to Bite Bar, but it’s a nice place to stop for some dessert if you’re in the area.

It’s one dollar for an itty bitty teeny tiny cupcake. Tastes good but damn it’s small for the price! It looks like they have a full bar inside, so I’d imagine it could be a night spot. I dropped by during a Saturday afternoon and it was dead. I did get to use the Unilocal offer for a free bite sized cupcake if you check in. I also bought one more cupcake but still felt ripped off. I had the red velvet which was good but soooo small for a buck.

Took my mom here for a belated celebration for her birthday and tried out all the flavours they had that day, plus one free one from checking in with the Unilocal app. The flavours of the cupcake were good, but the cupcakes were a bit smaller than what I expected from the pictures, and because it was so small it’s really kind of hard to appreciate the texture and flavours of the cupcakes. The girl at the cash though was fantastic at explaining their menu items and pricing, and was kind enough to remind us of their drink menu which I had forgotten about halfway into my cupcakes. I ordered one of their chocolate teas(forgot the name), but was kind of disappointed by it though. I think a better bet would be to try out their cocktails! Overall I had a good time here, and would likely come back when I’m in the area and craving something a little sweet but don’t want to feel guilty about the sugar/caloric intake!

Randomly stumbled upon this place as I was looking for parking to visit my niece at Sick Kids. The colourful, bite-sized cupcakes were a no-brainer present and helped me retain my «favorite uncle» status. I actually only had one cupcake, which was delicious(fresh soft cake, real icing), but like the pringles commercial«betcha just can’t have one», i needed more. I totally recommend stopping by bite bar to pick up the cup cakes as a gift as they look and taste awesome and much more fun that buying one large cake or only a couple cupcakes that are hard to split. Also had some nice seating area that would be a fun place to come with a friend — cool coffee shop vibe but not overly noisy so can have a conversation. TJ

The Cookies n’ Cream bar… thats my jam. Bonus: good 90’s hip hop and R&B on the sound system. Sit on the vinyl pink couch by the front window and BESEEN.

I am a huge Bite Bar fan. I work closeby, and was wandering around the area one day looking for somewhere to go for lunch and noticed Bite Bar. I didn’t think too much of it, but the next day, when out for dinner & drinks with some friends, one had mentioned Bite Bar & the concept of bite sized cupcakes & other desserts and I knew I had to check it out! I have been back many a time since! Service is always so friendly, warm, and accommodating. They are always happy to give reccomendations, and I’ve been given some free samples on more than one occasion! If you ever want to try a specific flavour or treat, if you contact them via email or phone before hand, they will make sure to have that flavour in stock when you come by. I love the fact that this is a place that you could come by during the day with family of all ages to enjoy the treats, or come by in the evening for a girls night & some drinks! I’ve had the luxury of trying many of their flavours and treats so far, but these are my favourites: Banana Splitz Cupcake: OMG. Banana cake with strawberry purée and a chocolate & caramel buttercream. Easily my favourite of the cupcakes. I brought these to a work potluck and they were a huge hit! Orange White Chocolate Caramel Popcorn: Really interesting/unique and delicous combo. The type of thing where if you’re not paying attention you won’t really notice how fast you will devour this deliciousness! Strawberry Cheesecakelette: Even though this is a «mini» cheesecake, it is still a decent size. I could not finish mine in one sitting. The cheesecake was nice, fresh, and most! I LOVED the crumb for the cake. It was yummy, buttery & light! They just opened their extended hours & full bar — I attended the launch and this little shop was packed! Though even though it is small, there is lots of bar seating in addition to tables, so plenty of places to be seated. If you are a fan of their desserts I can assure you will be a fan of their drinks! My favourite that I have tried is the«When Life Gives You Lemons» — Smirnoff Citrus Vodka, Three Olives Cake Vodka, & sweetened lemonade. It seriously tastes like you are drinking candy. Yummmm. I highly reccomend this place! Seriously, cocktails & cupcakes — how can you go wrong :)?

This cute little shop is located on Elm Street, just north of the Eaton Centre. I’ve been to this shop several times since it opened and so far my experiences have been extremely satisfactory. The store is small and narrow inside, however there are still a few tables and chairs for people to sit and enjoy their desserts and beverages. The lady that works there is very friendly and took the time to explain the pricing, flavors and products that they offer. The store offers mini cupcakes, cheesecakes, and marshmallow bars, as well as some beverages. I understand that they are expanding their hours and adding an evening menu that will offer treats(with a few liquor infused bite sized goodies) as well as dessert inspired alcoholic beverages — which I find to be a very neat and unique idea. What I ordered: 1. Marshmallow bars(3⁄5 stars) Cookies and cream I found this particular flavor to be a bit bland in taste and hard in texture. I noticed that the bar had what looked like crushed up oreos and I think the oreo itself may have been what caused the dryness of the marshmallow bar. I can still taste a bit of the marshmallow and cookie but I was not too fond of it. S’mores DELICIOUS. Chewy, chocolatey, and marshmallowy goodness. I wish my mother had packed a few of these in my lunch box when I was a kid. My favourite of the two bars I tried. 2. Mini Cupcakes(4⁄5 stars) Warning: when they say bite size they mean bite size. These cute bite size delicacies are so moist and delicious that after I have consumed 10 minis I am still craving more. I know the whole concept of the shop is to not have too many sweets and to avoid overindulging but I have no self control when it comes to something this tasty. Their signature bite called«Just Bite It» is absolutely unique and delicious. The cupcake is composed of a vanilla cake stuffed raspberry purée and topped with a raspberry vodka vanilla buttercream icing. It is my favourite and I truly cannot eat just one! Other flavours I’ve tried are strawberry, cocoa, banana splitz, mint, lemon, mocha, and PB and J — all of which were little scrumptious bursts of flavor in my mouth. 3. Cheesecakelettes(4⁄5 stars) The size of the cheesecakelettes are a decent size. They aren’t as tiny as the bites but they are probably smaller than a «restaurant» sized slice of cake. I have tried all 4 flavors and my taste buds are impressed. My favourite overall is the C4 which is a chocolate cheesecake on a cookie, dark chocolate ganach and chocolate chip. It is the richest one out of all 4 however I did not find it to be too sweet. I find with chocolate cheesecakes they are usually hit or miss — this is a definite hit. I like how this cheesecake is predominantly chocolate in flavor with a subtle cheesecake taste. Tied for second would be the classic strawberry and mango — these treats are fairly«light» for cheesecakes but really hit the flavour mark. My least favourite was the cookie cheesecake. I didn’t really taste the cookie inside of it and it tasted more of a regular cheesecake with a cookie crumb crust at the bottom. Nothing really spectacular about it. Overall, it’s a great bakery with a great concept. I love the idea of bite sized cupcakes and mini cheesecakes. After all, these«portion controlled» desserts are a terrific way to enjoy a lovely treat in a «guilt free» sort of way. The cost of the products are on the higher end of the scale but I think that is now the norm in speciality bakeries. The service was exceptional and the products are pretty unique and most importantly delicious. It is definitely a must try for those that happen to be in the neighbourhood looking for a small treat.

I tried this place today out of curiosity; it’s close to the office. The cupcakes were really tasty, but perhaps«bite» is taken a little too literally — these are absolutely TINY. Like, really. The cake itself was only about half an inch tall, and maybe an inch in diameter. I’m not entirely sure the dollar cost on each one is fair, but at least they didn’t disappoint taste wise. I suppose it would take a lot of work to decorate such small cupcakes individually. Not overly sweet, well made, and doesn’t have that unfortunate plasticky taste to the icing that some cupcake places have. The lady working there graciously accomodated my latex allergy by removing her gloves and washing her hands to box up the cupcakes. But just a heads up to anyone with a latex allergy, maybe ask for no gloves and for cupcakes farther away from the back of the case(to hopefully be less likely to have come in contact with the gloves). A note to the owner: Vinyl gloves fit just as well as latex and have a similar price point :) a lot of people have latex allergies, and food service places especially should avoid using latex gloves(please!). It would be unfortunate for someone to not be aware of the contact possibility(it wouldn’t have occurred to me if someone had offered me one at a party or something) and to have an allergic reaction. I would go back, but maybe when I’m having a party or something, to get one of the bigger boxes. $ 6 after tax for 6 extremely small cupcakes just doesn’t seem worth it to me.

As soon as I walked through the door, I was welcomed by the very nice lady at the front cashier desk. Very welcoming atmosphere and experience. Based on this first impression, for sure I will be coming back. The prices for the bites are: — 3 pack for $ 3 — Half a dozen for $ 5.50 — Dozen for $ 10.50 — 24 for $ 20 I purchased a dozen assorted bites. I loved the C Cup and PB ‘n J cupcakes. My boyfriend and friend loved the PB&J cupcake because it reminded them of a PB ‘n J sandwiches. but in bite form. Each bite was perfect in terms of texture and icing. I wish I had the Red Velvet but they sold out by the time I got there at 3PM. I also purchased a Lychee Dessert tea(regular for $ 2.25). To be honest, my tea just tasted like hot water. Would I go back?! FORSURE! :)
