If you are lucky to get Dr. Marijana Primoric consistently, you will LOVE going to the dentist. I feel like they give you her first so you stay as a patient. She is the coolest! If you are stuck w/​Dr. Hui, she will insult your crooked teeth. She pushed a bit too much with her insistence that I get bonding on my teeth. There was no medical reason for it — totally cosmetic. She insisted I would have a better smile and would save myself from embarassment because my top fronts stick out a bit more than the rest of the teeth. The only thing she did is cause me to think that she was very shallow and profit– oriented
The hygienists are rough in their cleanings and seem to think our family doesn’t use enough flouride. 2 treatments /​year, tap water and flouridated tooth paste — you’d think that is enough. There is one hygienist who couldn’t fathom that my very small mouth would not fit the adult xray trays. She kept pushing against my cheeks/​gums when I asked her on several occasions NOT to and insisted she use the children’s implements. She claimed the dentist wouldn’t like it and when I asked the dentist myself, she was shocked that the adult ones were even used.
We only go here because they take AMEX. I think it’s time to look for a new dentist.
