Laura is by far the most talented eyelash technician I have ever had! While the price (as mentioned by a lot of other reviewers) is definitely on the pricier side, what you’re paying for is expertise and professionalism. I have yet to find a better place where my extensions get my coworkers staring at me during meetings, and texting me from across the table, «Your eyelashes are distracting me; put them away!!» as much as Laura’s handiwork has.
The lashes also lasted VERY long (you know, being semi-​permanent and all) and looked very natural, just as I had requested.
The salon is located in a little space on the second floor of a commercial building, and the entrance is a door on the side of the building that can be easily missed if you’re not looking carefully.
The reason I give this place 4 and not 5 stars are for two things: The first time I visited, I had an early morning appointment, and thinking that I could go in a little early to fill in forms (as most places nowadays have you fill in serveys and such to better their service) I arrived about 15 minutes early, and when the doors were locked, I texted Laura to let her know I was downstairs, only to receive a text saying, «See you at 11am!»
The second thing is that while Laura is very good at her job, she can sometimes come off a little… overly professional, in the sense that it’s hard to get a casual conversation going (you know, when I’m not falling asleep at her gentle hands, while laying on a bed of clouds (seriously, that bed that she has on the inside is literally so comfortable!), listening to the clip clip sounds of her tweezers applying eyelashes on my already-​closed eyes, haha). It gave me a sort of feeling like she wasn’t really interested in getting to know me, as a repeat customer. Of course, everyone has their days, so I’m sure that these two incidents were one-​offs and should not be a benchmark for whether or not you get lashes done with Laura. Which you should.
Laura is someone I will definitely go back to for special occasions like weddings and my birthday, but for everyday wear, I’m going to go somewhere cheaper and closer to home.

I’ve been seeing Laura at Be Fabulous Lash Studio for almost 2 years now. I have nothing but praise for her and her talents as a Lash Extension expert among other things. She’s an absolute professional. Always recommends what’s best for your lashes, is amazing at applying them and is a complete perfectionist. You will not leave disappointed. Her spa is clean, beautiful and you always feel very comfortable. I can not say enough about how happy I am that I found her and how many people compliment my eyes since I’ve been seeing her regularly. Have gotten eyelash extensions before with other technicians and Laura’s have been by far the most well done! Even a make up artist mentioned how they were the best extensions she’s ever seen! It is slightly pricier to get them done with Laura, but it is definitely worth it with the quality you are getting. They look natural, but still noticeable… perfect length, light, doesn’t get tangled; she really knows what she is doing.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The spa itself has a relaxed vibe and is a convenient 2 minute walk from the subway. They are very thorough explaining any procedure whether it be eyelash extensions or laser treatments to make you feel very comfortable.

Got an eyebrow wax and it was average and way overpriced. Paid 22.60 for just an eyebrow wax.

I’ve been going to Be Fabulous for two years now for all my brazilian waxing and did NOT find anywhere else better than here. Laura uses hard wax here which is way better than the regular wax, which I do find is less painful. She is so professional and good at what she does, I’m really gald I have found this place. The price is very fair for the product and service and have recommended all my friends here.

I’m so impressed with the eyelash extensions I’ve received from Laura. I have been seeing her for over 3 years. Recently, she opened a new chic location steps away from the subway. The studio plays relaxing music during your treatment, which happily puts you to sleep. Laura is very professional and knowledgeable, understands what lashes best suits your eye type. Highly recommend, lasts about 3 – 4 weeks. Having lashes is (sometimes) all the makeup you need.
She started offering laser hair removal, will book an appointment for that soon!

I have had eyelash extensions for about 3 years now (slightly obsessed with waking up and not having to put on make-​up), and Laura is the absolute BEST. I originally found Laura by skimming through some Unilocal reviews. A few Unilocalers had posted that she came to the rescue and corrected their «eyelash extensions gone wrong» that they received by another spa or person claiming to have expertise in applying extensions. To me… you know someone will do a great job if they are able to correct other people’s work.
The best thing about Laura’s work for me is that she knows how to apply them based on your eye shape and make them look voluminous, yet natural. I have had so many people tell me that I have amazing eye lashes. When I tell people that they are actually extensions, I usually get the response of: «What? Really? They look so real.»
Last thing I will comment on is the length that Laura’s extensions stay on. I can usually go a month or a little over between touch-​ups, which is important for a new mom, such as myself.

So clean! So professional! Sooooooo thorough — not only are the eyelash extension amazingly done here but they last me forever which is great for my busy schedule! The years of experience are really obvious! She sets the bar and shows you what quality work is!
