Baskin Robbins is not the ice cream parlour you remember as a kid. Gone are the days of chemically-enhanced mint chocolate chip and artificially-flavoured strawberry swirl. Baskin Robbins has grown up, and the Red Velvet Cake ice cream has changed my opinion forever. I’m not sure if all locations carry this flavour, but let me tell you I will be searching it out by the pint. It even inspired me to make my own red velvet cake, then be deliriously disappointed when it didn’t taste half as good as this ice cream. Also check out loaded canolli — loaded with real pistachios and walnuts, and made me the creamiest vanilla I’ve ever tasted. Baskins, when’d you get so awesome?
