Antonio’s Tailor Shop

After having lost around 40lbs last summer and dropping from a 36″ waist to a 31″ I was a little disappointed that my favourite pair of jeans no longer fit me.
So, I thought I’d give this place a try.
When I got there, Tony took some measurements and told me to come back in a week.
Needless to say, I was really anxious to get back there and try the jeans on.
Around 3 days later I realized I was out of town on the pickup date and decided to stop by and ask if I can come earlier However I was pleasantly surprised that when I showed up the jeans where ready.
They looked great and the fit was even better than when I was at a 36″.
And at $ 25 for the whole job, I couldn’t be more satisfied.
I will definitely be coming back here.

Located in a tiny boutique inside the Colonnade on Bloor, Antonio’s may not look like much, but they produce good results. The operations are pretty simple, two employees appear to do the alterations work while Antonio does the measuring and pinning.
I would put this place on the top-​self of alterations places. I wouldn’t call this place an actual «tailor» shop, but the results are better than dry cleaner seamstresses. A little on the pricey side but much better than some of the other options in the area (see my other reviews).
This was a 4-​star place but I became less impressed with the work over time and had to bump it down a notch.
