ABC Academy of Music

I take drums and singing at ABC Academy. As a beginner and adult student I really appreciate how friendly and professional the teachers are. Instructions are clear and well presented, revolving around my interests and needs, in creative ways, with patience, support, and encouragement.
In my singing lessons I was given feeling, context, character, and meaning to what I’m singing, in a way that made me feel totally at ease.
My teachers are down to earth, with no pretension, and I’ve had a lot of fun so far!
I get the impression from my teachers and the desk staff that their whole team is the same way, and I look forward to my lessons every week.

ABC music school creates a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment for their students.
Although I am a mature student, I never feel out of place. I have a wonderful, talented and very friendly teacher who has a great sense of humour. I would recommend ABC music school to student of all ages and all levels.

Starting in 2008 my kids have taken music lessons at the ABC Academy (instrumental as well as the Music Together Program for toddlers). I have found them to be very professional about musical instruction, lesson scheduling, organizing recitals and also their fee structure and billing. ABC teachers are all very qualified to teach music and are very good at working with children.
These are not the music lessons I remember in dank music store basements full of tears and woe. Children are encouraged to practice and participate in recitals in a positive inclusive way. The location offers clean and bright studios with quality instruments and equipment of the larger types (piano, drums and amps).
We love the idea of a music school the kids can walk to. After school and weekend lessons are scheduled to our convenience. They have a long and varied list of instruments they offer classes for. When my oldest kid was choosing her instrument she picked the tuba (!) from the list of offerings. Needless to say she did not end up playing the tuba but there is always hope in the future. ABC Academy offers music instruction for any instrument I think that exists!
My oldest kid also augments her instrument lessons with a rock band practice session. Her rock band is made up of ABC Academy students of similar ages and they have a great time practicing and playing gigs and the recital.
I recommend ABC Academy highly for any family looking for great musical instruction.
