The selection of products is not bad but the attitude of the cashier I encountered was terrible. Just grab what you need and dash out of there. If you linger around for more than a few minutes, the lady over at the joint salon/clinic would be coming after you to make you stay for a treatment. If you refuse, she may even point out the exact problem area on your face and say«but you have scars there» and continue to shove you pamphlets or coupons to convince you that you need those chemical peels. It happened to me within the 3 minutes I was in the store. Rude!

This location has a great selection of beauty supplies at outlet prices however their customer service SUCKS. I’ve been treated rudely and left feeling unwelcome on multiple occasions. Most recently I walked in asking to exchange a nail polish top coat I purchased the night before and hadn’t opened(once I took it home and read the label I realized it contained toluene, a chemical that can cause birth defects and other nasty things). I checked the BSO’s receipt before going back and it clearly states all products can be exchanged within 14 days. Despite this when I asked to do an exchange one of the employees(maybe the manager?) yelled rudely from across the store that nail polishes were final sale. I informed her that this is not what is stated on their receipt. After a long pause(which lead me to believe that she made up this rule) she said«fine we’ll do it for you». To top it all off she didn’t even wait until I was out the door before asking her coworker who had cashed me out«did she open it???». I clearly told them both I did not. No one deserves to be treated like garbage while giving a business their money. Furthermore I’m happy to comply with return policies when they are made clear on receipts or signage. I don’t think I’ll ever be going back to this location.

The Beauty Supply Outlet is my special haven when it comes to primping and prepping my appearance for special occasions or day-to-day basic styling. Before I discovered this store a few years back, I would purchase hair products, straightening irons, nail polishes and everything else at prices that were sky high. Once I started to shop at this outlet, it all changed! I purchased my very first Chi ceramic straightening iron at this store almost 2 years back and it only cost $ 70 with a case and everything! This Chi iron purchase made me very happy and impressed because the price was low and the quality of my iron has not changed since my first use. Aside from that, I purchase all of my OPI nail polishes there for $ 9 per bottle, lower if it is a blow-out sale. If you want to keep yourself looking good but don’t have so much money to spend, visit the Beauty Supply Outlet! There are several locations all over the GTA and you are always able to find the latest and greatest in beauty products that are both high quality and won’t hurt your wallet.
