Dollarama

The main dollar store my wife introduced me to here in her home town of Terrebonne. Back then I thought it to be a junk shop however the items you can buy for $ 1, $ 2 $ 3 or $ 4 are really surprisingly amazing. Sure 90% of the products come from probably a factory in the south of China but for small house essentials it’s amazing what you can find searching around. You need a dish wash brush cause your dog ate the other one (no joke my 90 lb did) sure… It’s $ 1.25. Other easy utensils such as a vegetable peeler or small items are so inexpensive and work okay it’s a no brainer.
The number one item that I will swear by buying at a dollar store these days is greeting cards. All cards are $ 1. Cards are available in both French and English with some humorous ones, some sweet ones and all kinds. How the heck is Hallmark or Carlton cards still in business with $ 1 greeting cards at the dollar store?
It’s not glamorous or sexy shopping here it’s all about the practicality.
