Awesome service and best milkshake ever! Also the sorbet at the end was soooo good! So happy I can here for dinner. Had the baby back ribs and it was like heaven.

My girlfriend and I went for a romantic time on white rock beach. After much fun we got hungry and ended up at white spot. After arriving i was impressed how the staff were incredibly friendly and warm. The food was done to perfection and on time. The one thing I loved the most was the customer service. Not only the waitress came over to ask how our food was, but the manager took time to come over and introduce himself. Letting us know how happy they were to have us as customers. Then welcoming us back. We were so impressed that we left 25% tip. If you are in the area and are hungry make sure to stop by. I give it Mo’s two up.

Had the Pad Thai and asked for it hot. It was not. A bit disappointing as their food is usually so good. Pad Thai was overly sweet to my taste and texture was a bit rubbery. Also, half macadamia nuts are too big — crumbled peanut was what I expected. I recommend cutting the bean sprouts up; they’re awkward to work with. Would I order it again? Nope.

I think«The Spot» has lost it’s focus, for breakfast anyway. The menu was stark, the food bland save the standard bacon/eggs/pancakes. Service was polite but was vague & very slow despite two servers for six tables, so slow that I stacked my own plates after being asked if were finished, yet they were still left in front of us.

I’ve been here a few times even though I live all the way in Burnaby. I come here to when I see the guy I am dating who lives in Surrey. The primary reason why I come all the way here is ’cause they closed the downtown branch which had the most awesome waiter ever. That waiter now works here and he is the reason we both come to this location. Food is consistent and we get the best service from this guy. We have been here when he hasn’t been working and the service has been hit and miss, more miss than we would like. He is the highlight of our dining experience. Food and prices are the same as other locations. $ 10 for legendary burger is always a good deal in our books.

This is the best WS that I’ve found as of late, but due to W. Spot’s outrageous prices for the quality these, days, I can’t really give it a 4. In fact, I only opted to dine at a WS again as I had received a gc from head office, due to some bad prior experiences. The broadway experience was so horrendous, however, that I begged them not to force me to return. And so, they nicely complied with my request. The burgers are fresh compared to any of the other WS that I’ve tried in the city. The zoo sticks come in a huge order(although I wonder if they are worth it for $ 7.50) For an additional $ 2, you can add the sticks as a side to your burger instead. When I asked how many sticks that included, the waitress shrugged with indifference. I wouldn’t normally bother with something so trivial, but I figured, I’m only at the WS, after all. She didn’t seem too happy to be working there. For $ 5, you can add yam fries to your burger instead of regular fries. Last time I checked, yams weren’t exactly worth their weight in gold. Although they were good, definitely not worth the upgrade. The mark up for watered-down drinks is excessive. The price: three people, no alcohol, basic burger platters= $ 60. Really? $ 20 a person for mediocrity? Not sure if burgers will remain at the top of my wish list for food, at this rate. Since it’s no longer a great place in terms of quality and it’s certainly not cheap, I’m not sure if I’ll be in a rush to go to any WS again at all, any time soon. The saving grace was the welcoming fireplace as you enter/exit the joint. Still, I wonder when this«legend» will one day become just a distant memory?

I don’t know if it was just this day or our server was just off or if this is a regular thing? But Service was horrible this day! It took forever to get our food and forever to get our check. I don’t think our server checked on us one. I actually had to call a random server to help us a few times. Although the location is nice, I do not think I will be returning to this particular White Spot!

ok. So White Spot is one of my favorite places for breakfast/brunch. They have a great selection of eggs, waffles, pancakes, granola, etc… Sounds tempting, no? I thought that this morning, when I ordered a Strawberry Waffle sans the whipped cream, it would be an easy order… I was proved wrong, unfortunately. My waffle cam out by itself(no strawberries, syrup, butter, nothing!)… About 5 minutes later, I got a little creamer of syrup, a dish of butter, and a bowl of strawberries… Ummmm… excuse me? If I’m paying for strawberry waffles, don’t you think they should come to the table pre-made? Since when did restaurants start introducing the«Do-It-Yourself» menu? I’m just curious… Needless to say, next time I will have to order«A ready-to-eat, put together Strawberry Waffle sans the whipped cream» por favor.
