The Pantry Restaurant

We have been here for lunch and dinner. The place is bright and fresh. The staff are friendly and attentive. They run specials like their $ off promo that reduces some menu items to $ 8.99 or the burger and a beer for 10.99. This is is a great place for a tasty inexpensive meal.

Go get a coupon outta the Surrey Leader and take advantage of the Pantry’s «SPRING FEVER» 2 4 1 MENU… I really enjoyed the Eggs Benny because it’s a normal sized portion, not a silly biggie-​sized portion thats just gonna leave you feeling over-​stuffed and gassy! (Ya gassy can be fun, but not unless you can control it… lul.) The fare is typical family-​oriented dishes with a focus on north American western tradition. The customer service has been amped up to outshine it’s competition, (Denny’s, Kalmar. IHOP) and I must say it was somewhat overdue. I love the accountability and action taken by the staff when a customer voices a concern. It’s nice to see a server that doesn’t need to go «Talk To The Mgr.» before they correct something. This is the way all restaurants should be, proactive. Tasty Eggs Benny, decent Burger & fries, good coffee and warm, genuine customer service. The recent renovation feels relaxing, inviting and cozy. Good job Pantry and thanks for hiring such pleasant, attentive staff with a sense of humour. Keep it up.

Good prices. Not bad food. Exactly what we expected. I’d say it’s kind of like Denny’s in terms of food quality/​price.
If you go for lunch, try the yam fries with your sandwich. They were great.
They take American currency (our server said she actually keeps it for U.S. shopping trips and reimburses the restaurant with Canadian currency). She was friendly.
