My mother needed a pipe wrench for a home renovation project, and she decided to stop at Rona. She headed to the wrench section, only to find there was no pipe wrench. She called over a boy who said he would go grab someone. He brought a young woman who also didn’t know where the item was. The woman called over an older woman who helped my mother. She also needed a special kind of tape, which Rona didn’t supply. There was no price tag on the wrench, so the cashier had to return to the wrench aisle to copy the price. She entered the code and the price appeared five dollars over the price tag. The cashier had to override the system to change the price. Next time, we’ll choose the expertise of Home Depot instead.

Decent size, thought would be nicer and bigger out in the burbs. Behind the Shell. Came to check some outdoor decorating fixtures, ok selection. Their patio furniture seems to be higher end than Canadian Tire. All of the above on the right side upon entering. Airmiles yay.

I only dropped by because I was in the plaza to grab some printer ink. This place hasn’t changed from before Home Depot came to South Surrey, and I can’t believe this Rona location still exists. I guess something can be said of customer loyalty. One good thing is, this place is so small I can find what I’m looking for pretty easily!
