I’ll admit, I was nervous about getting eyelash extensions in general(I had a horrible experience at another salon 5 years ago and was traumatized by the results). I called Erin from Nails Hollywood, as an employee had recommended this place. She came in early the next day to accommodate my busy schedule. She explained the process to me thoroughly, and was very kind and chatty. I had heard about some places cutting corners by adding multiple lashes into one hole and she assured me that that was not how she did them — rather, she took her time(2 hours) and put on each lash individually. It was relatively painless(as painless as eyelash extensions can be), and the results were FABULOUS. She listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job. I’m looking forward to seeing how long they last. And on top of it all, her prices are great! Thank you Erin, I will definitely be coming back.

Pissed. made an appt for 4:30 and I walk in and there is one person working, doing two peoples nails who also look frustrated. and another lady waiting who goes in to get her eye lashes done at 4:40 by the same lady and it is now 5:15 and I am still waiting. if I wasn’t so desperate for a fill I would have left by now. do not recommend.

Apologies for not updating right away, but here we go! Sigh, okay. I really wanted to like this place… I went at the end of May. This is what I found towards the middle of June. Let me start by saying, the lashes looked great! I have no complaints about how great they looked. But after a couple of weeks, they started to hurt whenever I would accidentally tug or touch them, especially the corners. I didn’t think much of it since it was my first time — I thought that was normal. Then I went to my regular manicure place(Apex in Sapperton — check out my review ;) lol), and they asked if I was wearing false lashes. I told her that they were extensions. They took a closer look at it, and told me that what I got done were«clusters,» so 4 – 5 lashes applied on 1 of my lashes, which cuts down the application time but weighs my lashes overall. She warned me that getting them done over and over again will cause my lashes to fall out! She explained to me that the way I got them done is definitely thicker, but will cause damages to my natural lashes because they are too heavy. Safe to say, I went home, soaked a cotton ball in olive oil and took my lashes off. My lashes were definitely thinner, and I noticed that a portion of my natural lashes were gone! It’s only now that I’ve gotten them back to normal, and I only had these«extensions» on for 3 weeks! Would I go here again? Nope, sorry. $ 40 for a full set is a GREAT deal. But at the end of it all, I would like to have all my lashes intact.
