Hunky Haulers

Bought the groupon for 250lbs. Looked online to check if they took mattresses, it said they did but said nothing about the 20 $ they charge on top as a recycling fee. Returned the groupon and decided to drive them myself and only pay the 12 $ recycling fee they charge at Canadian Mattress Recycling. Not sure why they would charge 20 $ when they themselves would only be charged 12 $.

groupon purchase $ 49 for 250 lbs of garbage. on arrival was told it was less than the limit but more than ¹⁄₈ of a bin and that my cost would be $ 286.what a scam. drivers had said that they are dealing with this complaint on every groupon pickup., management choosing to do nothing, leaving the drivers to handle all complaints. i will never use the company again

Great great great experience with Hunky Haulers. I filled out the form for the online quote and within 30 minutes Anthony called me back to schedule an appointment. There are rough pricing guidelines on the web site but the idea is that the guys come to your place, assess the items (they try and donate what they can — they work with various charities) and then give you an onsite no-​obligation quote. To have my 3 seat old couch and 2 seat loveseat it was $ 162 including dump fee and taxes.
There is a choice of a few 2 hour windows and i chose the 8−10am block. At 7:45am I got a call and they said they would be here by 8 am — right on time. The hunks were friendly and efficient. They were careful to try and not hit the walls which was a concern since our building just had renovations in the hallways and lobby. Once they were finished they brought up the portable debit/​credit machine (they only take interac, VISA and MC) and we were done!
They were prompt at getting back to me, punctual, careful and reasonable. I love to support local business and these guys are great!
